KNITTED MEMBER FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A warp knit element for an article of footwear includes a plurality of cell structures that extend from a sole structure to a lacing region of an upper.
Multi-layer braided article
A multi-layer braided article comprises a braid folded over itself to form a first layer and a second layer, and one or more blind stitches in the first layer. The one or more stitches define an edge of the first layer about which the braid folds from the first layer into the second layer.
A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A TUBULAR INTARSIA KNITTED ITEM BY MEANS OF A CIRCULAR WEFT KNITTING MACHINE
A process for manufacturing a tubular knitted item (1) with intarsia design, comprising the steps of: programming a circular weft knitting machine for intarsia design by defining a tubular intarsia knitted item (1) to be manufactured, extending longitudinally between a first end (2) and a second end (3) and consisting of a plurality of knitted courses following one another;
wherein the programming step comprises the steps of: defining a turning position (4), which divides the tubular item into a first fabric (5) and a second fabric (6), wherein the tubular item is configured for being manipulated so as to be at least partially turned over itself, by folding it in the turning position so that the second fabric overlaps the first fabric in order to obtain a double fabric item; defining at least one first area (10) of the first fabric, delimited by a needle section and by a number of successive courses of the area, and having a desired shape; defining at least one first counter-area (20) of the second fabric, delimited by a needle section and by a number of successive courses of the area, in which the first counter-area has a respective shape; producing intarsia knitted fabric so as to manufacture the tubular knitted item according to the programming step; wherein the first area (10) is manufactured according to a first knitted structure and the first counter-area (20) is manufactured according to a second knitted structure.
Cooling fabric
A three-layer circular knitted jacquard fabric includes a first layer having a yarn made from a first material. A second layer of the fabric includes a yarn made from a second material. A third layer of the fabric includes a yarn made from a third material. At least one of the materials includes ultra-high weight molecular polyethylene. The second layer is positioned between the first layer and the third layer such that the second layer provides loft between the first layer and the third layer.
Denim-like Fabric
The present invention relates to a denim-like fabric and jeans. In some embodiments, the invention relates to a denim-like knitted fabric.
KNITTING METHOD
The invention relates generally to a method for combining multiple knit constructions in a single fabric using a double selection circular knitting machine. It is in particular directed of seamlessly combining in a single fabric an air circulating construction with a double-knit construction. It further provides a fabric obtained using the method of the present invention.
KNITTED SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCT FOR MANUFACTURING STOCKINGS, FOOTWEAR AND GLOVES AND PROCESS FOR THE ATTAINMENT THEREOF
A knitted semi-finished product for manufacturing stockings, footwear and gloves, comprises: a main waterproofed portion configured to contain a user's foot or hand. The main waterproofed portion comprises an outer knitted portion and an inner waterproofing portion configured to prevent the passage of liquids from the outside to the inside of the semi-finished product. An auxiliary knitted portion is connected to the outer portion and delimits an opening configured to receive the user's foot or hand. A ring-shaped portion belonging to the auxiliary knitted portion and directly connected to the outer knitted portion has a lower hydrophilic characteristic than a hydrophilic characteristic of the outer knitted portion, so as to stop or at least slow down the capillarity rise of the water absorbed by the outer knitted portion.
KNITTED SHOE UPPER WITH INTEGRAL EYELETS
The present invention relates to a shoe upper including a knitted component having a plurality of integrally knitted lines of loops including a set of consecutive lines, wherein each line in the set of consecutive lines includes a plurality of consecutive loops which are interlooped with adjacent loops of the respective line and not interlooped with loops of a line which is not contained in the set, and wherein the set of consecutive lines forms at least a portion of an eyelet which is configured to receive a lace.
KNITTED STRUCTURE FOR REINFORCING COMPOSITE MATERIALS
The object of the invention is a composite product that may include a knitted reinforcing structure, which has at least two skins, connected by links; the link density being between 1 link per 40 square stitches and one link per 10,000 square stitches. The invention also relates to the method for producing composite product obtained that may include between 55 and 85% by volume of polymeric material and between 15 and 45% by volume of reinforcing fibers.
A STRUCTURED KNITTED FABRIC AND METHOD OF PRODUCING IT
Disclosed is a structured knitted fabric and method for production, having a single layer resulting from several components. The fabric has a knitted layer machined on circular machines, a membrane thermo-coupled to the internal surface of the knitted layer, and a fine knitted layer joined to the membrane or knitted layer and a waterproofing treatment on the external surface. Different combinations produce different fabrics. A first fabric includes a knitted layer, a membrane, and a waterproofing treatment and, depending on the weight of the knitted layer, is suitable for all sports, from skiing to cycling. A second fabric has a knitted layer, a fine knitted layer, and a waterproofing treatment, and is suitable for lightweight, breathable garments. Lastly, a third fabric has a knitted layer, a membrane, a fine knitted layer, and a waterproofing treatment, and is suitable for garments used in cold weather and for winter sports.
