The temperature is continuously monitored, and a log is kept for printout, allowing the platelet incubator to meet relevant compliance requirements. An alarm is activated if the temperature of the platelets exceeds twenty-three degrees Celsius, or falls under twenty-one degrees Celsius.

A dispenser (10) including a base (12) having a plurality of compartments (16) to hold product. The dispenser (10) further includes a lid (14) operatively associated with the base (12) and adapted to be pivotally secured to the base (12). The lid (14) includes a lid opening (24) which is adapted to be aligned with a single compartment (16) of the base (12) upon rotation of the lid (14) so that a user can access product held within the single compartment (16). The dispenser (10) includes aa sub-lid assembly (38) operatively adapted to control pivotal movement of the lid (14) relative to the base (12) thus controlling access to the compartments (16).

The centering elements have a beveled configuration and protruding into the receptacles in order to reduce a width of the receptacles at the lower ends thereof in a funnel shape.

An apparatus and method for holding a container comprising of a carriage and timing mechanism. The apparatus is comprised of a lever with at least two positions relative to the carriage, a timer, and a timer reset mechanism such that when the lever is in the first position, the timer will start counting time. When the lever is moved to the second position, the timer reset mechanism will modify the timer such as by resetting the amount of time that has been counted. The user thus knows how much time has passed since the user last changed the position of the lever.
