Fully degradable non-woven fabric produced by melt-blow extrusion and application thereof in production of medical masks
A fully degradable non-woven fabric produced by melt-blown extrusion and an application thereof in the production of medical masks. The fully degradable non-woven fabric is produced through steps of: (S1) preparation of caprolactone-lactic acid random copolymer; (S2) preparation of copolymerized modified PLA; and (S3) preparation of non-woven fabric by the melt-blown extrusion.
Face Mask and Method of Making the Same
A face mask includes a piece of fabric including a main body portion, a first leg extending from first side of the main body portion, and a second leg extending from a second side of the main body portion. A first plurality of slots are arranged along a first side perimeter of the main body portion, and a second plurality of slots are arranged along a second side perimeter of the main body portion. At least one first fold in the piece of fabric extends between the first plurality of slots and at least one second fold extends between the second plurality of slots. The first plurality of slots are aligned and the first leg extends through the first plurality of slots. The second plurality of slots are also aligned and the second leg extends through the second plurality of slots.
CARBON NANOWIRE, A FABRIC, A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND AN ADDITIVE FOR A FABRIC
A carbon nanowire contains a photocatalytic metal-organic framework (MOF) in the form of a nanoparticle. Methods herein may produce a nanowire, fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, products, etc. containing such a nanowire, and/or the MOF having antibacterial and/or pathogenic efficacy upon irradiation.
MANUFACTURED TO SHAPE HEADGEAR AND MASKS
A headgear or headgear segments are manufactured to shape thereby producing little or no waste material. Such headgear or headgear segments (components) may comprise a unitary, substantially seamless structure. Techniques such as knitting, braiding, crocheting, and 3D printing may be used to produce the headgear. As a result, the manufacturing process may have reduced steps, the amount of material waste may be reduced, and there are virtually no seams in the headgear between adjoining sections, thereby resulting in headgear with enhanced comfort.
REFLECTIVE KNIT ARTICLE
A knit fabric is created using on a flatbed knitting machine to create a whole garment having an inner surface and an outer surface. The knit fabric includes a support matrix comprised of base yarns with reflective yarns supported on the support matrix. The knit fabric comprises a jacquard knit structure formed from the base yarns and the reflective yarns, wherein elongate loops of the reflective yarns are outwardly exposed from the outer surface of the knit fabric. The inner surface of the knit fabric includes outwardly exposed floats of the reflective yarns.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CUSTOM-SIZED GARMENTS
A method for manufacturing a garment includes gathering customer data from a plurality of customers, the customer data being associated with respective ones of a plurality of garment orders and including customer information regarding at least one customizable garment parameter and generating a schedule for producing a plurality of customized garments including analyzing the at least one customizable garment parameter for the at least some of the plurality of garment orders. The method further includes manufacturing the plurality of customized garments according to the schedule.
THIN SHEET MASK HAVING SNUG FIT, ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY AND ANTIBACTERIAL FUNCTION, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
Disclosed is a mask sheet and a sheet mask using the same, and more particularly an eco-friendly mask sheet having electrical conductivity and antibacterial function and a sheet mask using the same. The sheet mask includes a knit mask sheet having 1 to 20 wt. % of an electrically conductive fiber containing a copper component; and a cosmetic composition soaking into the mask sheet.
Custom sizing system and methods for a knitted garment having radial symmetry
A method for manufacturing a knitted garment includes obtaining customer data regarding at least one customizable garment parameter and applying at least one sequencing module to the customer data to generate a pattern for a customized garment according to the at least one customizable garment parameter. The at least one sequencing module includes a radial symmetry module that includes applying a first transfer sequence to a first section of stitches including executing an underlapping transfer of stitches from successive pairs of needles in the second bed to successive single needles in the first bed, respectively, and applying a second transfer sequence to a second section of stitches including executing an overlapping transfer of stitches from successive pairs of needles in the second bed to successive single needles in the first bed, respectively.
Elastic laminate and article containing same
Provided is a stretchable laminate which has a sufficient holding ability in the case of being stretched to be bonded onto another material and is excellent in feeling of touch. Also provided is an article including such stretchable laminate. The stretchable laminate of the present invention is a stretchable laminate, including: an elastomer layer; and a non-woven fabric layer arranged on at least one side of the elastomer layer, the stretchable laminate including an elastic lane portion and a rigid lane portion, the rigid lane portion requiring a strength of from 1 N/20 mm to 7 N/20 mm for obtaining a 5% deformation amount.
Full coverage head cover made with wettable material
