Methods, systems, and products monitor a person's regimen for medicinal and dietary restrictions. When the person's regimen requires a liquid medication or supplement, an oral instrument is commanded to dispense a dosage of fluid. The oral instrument stores a reservoir of the fluid. If the oral instrument is a spoon, for example, the spoon may automatically dispense cough syrup or other medicine. A toothbrush, likewise, may automatically dispense mouthwash. A sensor may confirm presence of the oral instrument in the person's mouth, thus ensuring the dosage of fluid is ingested.

A pill crushing device pulverizes pills and then transfers the pulverized pills out of the device with minimal transfer loss and spillage. The device includes a pill chamber. The pill chamber may form a threaded connection with the storage portion that enables detachment. The pill is pulverized in the pill chamber. A first spoon may retains the pill and carries the pulverized pill out of the chamber along a longitudinal opening of the pill chamber. An optional second spoon detachably attaches to the first spoon to carry supplemental compositions to the pulverized pill.

A feeding accessory or tool for administering food or medication to neonatal infants, utilizes a storage part and a spoon part. The latter has upstanding side flanges to direct food or medications along a channel between the flanges. The spoon part has an end flange with a central depression that can complement an infant's tongue and lips, to simplify administration of the food or medications, as the case may be. Improved transfer from the storage part to the infant's mouth is thereby achievable. The device can be inexpensively fabricated using simple mold cavities for plastic articles such as the present tool.

A packaging system for infant nutritional composition with dosing devices (304, 305), comprises a first dosing device (304) for dispensing a first quantity of said infant nutritional composition, said first quantity being adapted to boys, and a second dosing device (305) for dispensing a second quantity of said infant nutritional composition, said second quantity being adapted to girls, said first quantity being different from said second quantity.

A kit of parts for a feeder has a body and a bung that can slide within the body. A periphery of the bung can form a sliding seal between that periphery and the internal side walls of the body. A base cap has an aperture and is mountable at a lower end of the body to substantially occlude that end and allow airflow through the aperture into the body as the bung moves away. The kit has a teat mouthpiece for liquid foods, a sipper mouthpiece for pureed food, and a spout mouthpiece for mashed food and a pump attachment. The pump attachment has a pump and a spoon. The pump has a pump bung which moves reciprocatingly within the body and forms a sliding seal with the internal side walls. A medicine administration spoon for oral administration of a medicine. The spoon includes a bowl or spoon member for accommodating medicine, the bowl or spoon member is concave and includes a plurality of dose slit lines. The dose slit lines provide a visual aid for different dose amounts. A dose timer member has a needle whose pointed end can be turned and pointed in a specific direction to indicate the next dose timing. The bowl or spoon member includes a contoured periphery including curves, wherein the medicine is administered using one of the curves depending on the position such as supine, sitting, or moving of the patient. The spoon can be used for any type of oral medicine and reduces spilling of medicine.

A spoon for administering a carrier medium includes a bowl and a handle. Various configurations of the bowl or handle can allow a carrier medium or medication to be more easily dispensed.
