The covering includes a basic covering which has a web-contacting upper side and an underside, and a plurality of polymer elements. The polymer elements are welded onto the upper side and at least some of the polymer elements are in the form of yarn-shaped and/or tape-shaped polymer elements.
Belt or fabric including polymeric layer for papermaking machine
A fabric or belt for a papermaking machine including a first layer that defines a web contacting surface and a second layer that supports the first layer. The first layer is made of extruded polymer and includes a plurality of first elements aligned in a first direction, a plurality of second elements aligned in a second direction and extending over the plurality of first elements, and a plurality of open portions defined by the plurality of first and second elements. The second layer is made of woven fabric. The first layer is bonded to the second layer so that the first layer extends only partially through the second layer and an interface formed between the first and second layers includes bonded and unbonded portions and airflow channels that extend in a plane parallel to the first and second layers.
LAMINATED PAPER MACHINE CLOTHING
The invention relates to a clothing (10) for a machine to manufacture or refine a fibrous web, in particular a paper, cardboard, or tissue web, comprising a substrate (40) and a grid structure (20) applied on the substrate (40), on which the fibrous web is transported when the clothing (10) is used as intended, wherein the grid structure (20′) comprises a plurality of first elements (24′), all of which aligned in a first direction, and a plurality of second elements (26′), all of which aligned in a second direction, which is different from the first direction, wherein the first elements (24′) penetrate the second elements (26′), forming the grid structure (20′), such that an underside of the first elements (24′) facing the substrate (40) and an underside of the second elements (26′) facing the substrate (40) are located in a common plane. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for producing such a clothing.
Industrial textile
An industrial textile has two layers, a web-side layer and a wear-side layer. The web-side layer has machine direction yarns (1) and binding cross-machine direction yarns (5). The wear-side layer has machine direction yarns (3) and cross-machine direction yarns (4). The binding cross-machine direction yarns (5) extend from the web-side layer to the wear-side layer and bind a portion of the wear-side layer machine direction yarns (3) to bond the web-side layer and the wear-side layer together, and wherein the web-side layer is a non-plain weave.
Industrial Textile
An industrial textile has a double warp. Yarns (111, 112) of a first warp and yarns (131, 132, 133, 134) of a weft are bonded to each other according to a first predetermined pattern, and yarns (121, 122) of a second warp and the yarns (131, 132, 133, 134) of the weft are bonded to each other according to a second predetermined pattern. The first predetermined pattern and the second predetermined pattern form a textile structure, which includes the yarns (131, 132) of the weft on a first level (L1) and the yarns (133, 134) of the weft on a second level (L2). The yarns of the weft having smaller diameter are configured to alternate with yarns of the weft having a larger diameter on the first level (L1).
WEB MATERIAL STRUCTURING BELT, METHOD FOR MAKING AND METHOD FOR USING
Web material structuring belts that impart structure to a web material during a web material structuring operation and/or structured web material forming operation, method for making same and methods for using same to make structured web materials, for example structured fibrous structures, such as structured sanitary tissue products such as structured toilet tissue, structured paper towels and structured facial tissue are provided.
Industrial two-layered fabric
[Task] The object of the present invention is to provide an industrial two-layered fabric with a long durability which exhibits an excellent surface smoothness and excellent marking characteristics, while at the same time improving wear resistance characteristics to balance warps and wefts. [Solution to the Task] An industrial two-layered fabric formed by binding yarns, diameters of all of the upper surface side warps are set to be the same, diameters of all of the lower surface side warps are set to be the same, diameters of the lower surface side warps are set to be larger than diameters of said upper surface side warps, and at least one, or more than one of said upper surface side warps are woven with said lower surface side wefts to constitute binding yarns binding said at least one upper surface side fabric and said at least one lower surface side fabric.
Woven papermaking fabric including stabilized weave providing textured contacting surface
The present invention relates to papermaking fabrics useful in the manufacture of paper products, such as tissue paper. Particularly this invention relates to a woven papermaking fabric that includes a stabilized weave providing a textured contacting surface. The woven papermaking fabric includes a plurality of warp and shute filaments woven together to provide at least one protuberance on the web contacting side of the fabric that extends longitudinally over at least five shute filaments. The at least one protuberance is stabilized by including an offset shute float weave pattern configured such that a majority of the shute filaments forming the at least one protuberance are woven in an anti-nesting configuration.
WOVEN PAPERMAKING FABRIC HAVING CONVERGING, DIVERGING OR MERGING TOPOGRAPHY
Provided are woven papermaking fabrics having a web contacting surface having protuberances formed from woven warp and shute filaments. The protuberances, which may be oriented in the machine direction (MD) converge, merge, or diverge and may be arranged to form a pattern. In certain instances, the protuberance may comprise a first MD oriented protuberance having an element angle from about 0.5 to about 15 degrees, a second MD oriented protuberance having an element angle from about −0.5 to about −15 degrees wherein the first and second protuberances converge at a convergence area to form a third MD oriented protuberance having an element angle from about −15 to about 15 degrees.
