The first and the second flat fabric are arranged above one another, and the two loop elements are arranged in each case at a face-side, front end.

Woven papermaking fabric having converging, diverging or merging topography

Provided are woven papermaking fabrics having a web contacting surface having protuberances formed from woven warp and shute filaments. The protuberances, which may be oriented in the machine direction (MD) converge, merge or diverge and may be arranged to form a pattern. In certain instances the protuberance may comprise a first MD oriented protuberance having an element angle from about 0.5 to about 15 degrees, a second MD oriented protuberance having an element angle from about −0.5 to about −15 degrees wherein the first and second protuberances converge at a convergence area to form a third MD oriented protuberance having an element angle from about −15 to about 15 degrees.

A clothing for a machine for producing a fibrous web, in particular a paper, board or tissue web, includes a first layer of first strips which are oriented parallel to one another, and a second layer of second strips which are oriented parallel to one another. The second layer is disposed on the first layer and is connected to the first layer. The adjacent first strips are spaced apart from one another and the adjacent second strips are also spaced apart from one another, so that a composite including the first layer and the second layer has a plurality of through openings for dewatering the fibrous web. A production method for producing a clothing of this type is also provided.

Laminated papermaking belt

Disclosed is a two layered belt useful in the manufacture of tissue products comprising a first woven layer and a second nonwoven layer joined together in a laminated arrangement. The woven layer typically forms the machine contacting layer of the belt and is woven from a highly abrasion resistant material, while the nonwoven layer contacts the nascent tissue web. The woven layer may be provided with valleys and ridges that the nascent web is molded into, while the nonwoven layer may be provided with elements that impart a visually aesthetic pattern to the web. In this manner the belt may be useful in the production of products having desirable physical properties resulting from molding into the woven fabric while also being visually pleasing to the user.

A Fabric for a Paper or Pulp Technology and a Method for Manufacturing a Fabric for a Paper or Pulp Technology
20220251782 · 2022-08-11 · ·

A fabric for a paper or pulp technology has a longitudinal direction (MD) and a cross direction (CMD), and a first surface (FS) and a second surface (SS) in a fabric thickness direction (TD). The fabric (1) extends in the cross direction (CMD) from a first edge (FG) to a second edge (SG). The fabric (1) has an adaptable medium comprising at least one sensor. The adaptable medium is a deformable structure that adapts to the fabric where it is inserted and may be a string or a sheet configured to detect temperature, temperature profile, wear, volatile organic compounds (VOC), humidity, pH, microbial level, organic and inorganic material content, dirt content, flow rate and flow velocity field, or pressure in a nip. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a fabric for a paper or pulp technology.

MULTI-LAYER WARP BOUND PAPERMAKER'S FORMING FABRICS

The present invention is directed to forming fabrics. The forming fabrics may include a series of repeat units. Each of the repeat units may include a set of binding warp yarns including a first set of binding warp yarns and a second set of binding warp yarns, wherein a binding warp yarn from the first set is paired with a binding warp yarn from the second set; a set of spring warp yarns, wherein each spring warp yarn is between a first pair of binding warp yarns and a second pair of binding warp yarns; a set of top weft yarns including odd and even top weft yarns, wherein the top weft yarns interweave with the binding warp yarns and the spring warp yarns to form a top fabric layer, wherein the spring warp yarns interweave only with the top weft yarns; a set of bottom weft yarns; and a set of bottom warp yarns, the bottom warp yarns interwoven with the bottom weft yarns to form a bottom fabric layer. The binding warp yarns from the first and second set and the spring warp yarns interweave with the top weft yarns to relatively form a plain weave pattern in defined zones such that (a) the first set of binding warp yarns only pass over even top weft yarns; (b) the second set of binding warp yarns only pass over odd top weft yarns; (c) the first binding warp yarn in the pair is offset from the second binding warp yarn in the pair by at least three top weft yarns to create an overlap in the warp path of the pair of binding warp yarns; and (d) each spring warp yarn passes over even and odd top weft yarns. The binding warp yarns from the first and second set and the bottom warp yarn interweave with the bottom weft yarns.

Woven papermaking fabric including stabilized weave providing textured contacting surface

The present invention relates to papermaking fabrics useful in the manufacture of paper products, such as tissue paper. Particularly this invention relates to a woven papermaking fabric that includes a stabilized weave providing a textured contacting surface. The woven papermaking fabric includes a plurality of warp and shute filaments woven together to provide at least one protuberance on the web contacting side of the fabric that extends longitudinally over at least five shute filaments. The at least one protuberance is stabilized by including an offset shute float weave pattern configured such that a majority of the shute filaments forming the at least one protuberance are woven in an anti-nesting configuration.

Industrial two-layer fabric

An industrial two-layer fabric includes an upper surface side fabric constituted by upper surface side warps and upper surface side wefts, one a lower surface side fabric constituted by lower surface side warps and lower surface side wefts, the upper surface side warps include a warp binding yarn, wherein two adjacent upper surface side warps that includes a upper surface side warp that weaves only the upper surface side wefts and the warp binding yarn form a pair, the warp binding yarn of the pair passes below three of the adjacent upper surface side wefts where the warp binding yarn passes below the one of the lower surface side wefts, a ratio of the number of the upper surface side warps to the number of the lower surface side is 2:1.
