ENDLESS WOVEN DRYER FABRIC FOR PAPERMAKING MACHINE
An endless-woven dryer fabric for a papermaking machine includes: a plurality of upper warp yarns; a plurality of lower warp yarns; and a plurality of weft yarns interwoven with the plurality of upper and lower warp yarns in a series of repeat units. Each weft yarn includes upper and lower portions, the upper portions interwoven with the upper warp yarns, and the lower portions interwoven with the lower warp yarns. The upper portion of each weft yarn includes a first seam loop and the lower portion of each weft yarn includes a second seam loop. The first and second seam loops of the weft yarns are interdigitated to form a seam, the seam receiving a pintle so that the fabric forms an endless loop.
SEAMED PRESS FELT WITH PARTIALLY ANCHORED STUFFER YARN PACKAGER
A seamed press felt formed from a base fabric having a CD and an MD with opposing MD ends that are joined to form a continuous belt. MD oriented yarns form uniform loops at the opposing MD ends that are interdigitated to define a pintle channel extending across the CD width. CD oriented yarns are connected to the MD oriented yarns, in a woven or non-woven construction. Loop open spaces are located within the loops at the MD ends in a seam region, with the loop open spaces being between the last CD yarn at each MD end and the pintle channel. At least one CD monofilament support yarn is located in the loop open spaces at the MD ends. The at least one CD monofilament support yarn has a diameter that is at least 1.6 times a diameter of the CD oriented yarns.
Clothing and method for producing a clothing
A clothing, in particular a drying wire, for a machine for producing a fibrous web, such as a paper or cardboard web, is a planar textile structure from yarns which intersect in a machine direction and in a cross-machine direction. The planar structure has two edges oriented in the machine direction and two edges oriented in the cross-machine direction. The clothing is joinable along the edges oriented in the cross-machine direction in the machine so as to form an endless belt. The clothing is only calendered by introducing energy in peripheral regions which extend along the edges oriented in the machine direction and/or along the edges oriented in the machine cross direction, on account of which in the peripheral regions the MD yarns are welded to the CMD yarns, and the thickness and/or permeability of the clothing are/is reduced.
Pintle insertion tool
In one embodiment, a pintle insertion tool is disclosed. The pintle insertion tool includes a housing, and a drive assembly supported by the housing. The drive assembly includes a controller connected to a power supply and configured to drive at least one motor. The drive assembly includes a first roller and a second roller defining at least a portion of a channel therebetween. The at least one motor is configured to rotate the first roller and the second roller in both a forward direction and a reverse direction. The channel is adapted to receive a pintle lead wire such that the pintle lead wire is driven by the first roller and the second roller through interdigitated seam loops on opposing ends of a textile sheet so that a pintle can be pushed into position to complete a seam.
PAPERMAKING MACHINE THAT UTILIZES ONLY A STRUCTURED FABRIC IN THE FORMING OF PAPER
A method of forming a fibrous web on a papermaking machine including the steps of depositing a dilute fiber slurry out of a headbox to a forming area comprising a forming surface made up of a structured fabric, wherein the structured fabric is supported by a breast roll and a forming roll, and the forming area is devoid of any additional fabrics or belts other than the structured fabric, draining the dilute fiber slurry through the structured fabric, and drying the fiber slurry.
BASIC STRUCTURE OF A CLOTHING FOR A MACHINE FOR PRODUCING OR PROCESSING A FIBROUS MATERIAL WEB AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
A basic structure of a clothing for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, in particular a paper, cardboard or tissue web. The basic structure has at least a first flat fabric of fabric type A and a second flat fabric of fabric type B, and, furthermore, two loop elements. The loop elements are formed in each case from a flat fabric piece which has a first portion of fabric type A and a second portion of fabric type B. The first portion is laid down on the second portion in such a way that the folding point is formed at a spacing of less than 5 cm, in particular less than 1 cm, from the changeover position between the fabric type A and the fabric type B. The first and the second flat fabric are arranged above one another, and the two loop elements are arranged in each case at a face-side, front end.
A Fabric for a Paper or Pulp Technology and a Method for Manufacturing a Fabric for a Paper or Pulp Technology
A fabric for a paper or pulp technology has a longitudinal direction (MD) and a cross direction (CMD), and a first surface (FS) and a second surface (SS) in a fabric thickness direction (TD). The fabric (1) extends in the cross direction (CMD) from a first edge (FG) to a second edge (SG). The fabric (1) has an adaptable medium comprising at least one sensor. The adaptable medium is a deformable structure that adapts to the fabric where it is inserted and may be a string or a sheet configured to detect temperature, temperature profile, wear, volatile organic compounds (VOC), humidity, pH, microbial level, organic and inorganic material content, dirt content, flow rate and flow velocity field, or pressure in a nip. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a fabric for a paper or pulp technology.
Fabric
A fabric clothing, in particular a press felt, for use in a machine for producing a fibrous web, contains a woven fabric strip having interwoven longitudinal threads and cross threads, as well as having a first and a second longitudinal end. The two longitudinal ends of the woven fabric strip are connected to one another in a connection zone. Provision is made that the two longitudinal ends are welded to one another by a transmission welding, in particular by a laser transmission welding.
Clothing for a machine for producing a fibrous web and method for producing a clothing of this type
A covering is particularly suited for use in a machine for producing and/or finishing a paper, cardboard, tissue or pulp web. The covering has a basic structure formed as a part of a flat woven material, which flat woven material is designed as a woven material by interlacing warp threads and weft threads. The portion of the flat woven material has a plurality of sections that are formed integrally with each other, with at least one property of one of the sections differing from the respective property of at least one adjacent section.
PINTLE INSERTION TOOL
