Object collating device and object collating method
It is an object of the present invention to provide an object collating device and an object collating method that enable matching of images of a dividable medical article with desirable accuracy and easy confirmation of matching results. In the object collating device according to the first aspect, when the object is determined to be divided, the first image for matching is collated with the image for matching (the second matching image) for the objects in the undivided state, so that the region to be matched is not narrowed, and matching of the images of the dividable medical article is achieved with desirable accuracy. In addition, since the first and second display processing is performed on the images for display determined to contain the objects of the same type, matching results can easily be confirmed.
SMART PILL BOX
A device for organizing and tracking medication. The device includes compartments to contain medication, and each compartment includes an access door. A sensor element can detect if the device is moved, if the access door is opened and/or closed, and/or if medications have been placed into or removed from a compartment. A processor and/or external computing system provides alarms if medications is not properly taken, a filling service for stuffing the compartments and an administration service to verify the medications are properly taken.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEDICATION DISPENSER
Disclosed are systems and methods for a pill dispenser system. The dispenser system includes a dispenser software application that manages the administration of pills to a patient. The pills can be stored in multiple compartments of a hopper. The hopper includes openings in the bottom of each compartment. A disc below the hopper has openings that correspond to the hopper openings, but are offset, keeping the pills in each compartment. The hopper and the disc move together to index a compartment above a dispensing cup. The hopper moves in the opposite direction, without the disc, creating a dispensing aperture, where a pill is dropped onto an elevator. The elevator lowers the pill and drops it into a dispensing cup.
MEDICATION SUPPORT APPARATUS AND MEDICATION SUPPORT SYSTEM
A medication support apparatus includes a storage, a medicine delivery part, an extraction device, a transfer device, a pack information reader, and processing circuitry. The storage stores a medicine pack with first medication-related information. The medicine pack is arranged at a specific position in the delivery part. The extraction device extracts the medicine pack from the storage. The transfer device transfers the medicine pack extracted from the storage to the specific position in the delivery part. The pack information reader reads the first medication-related information before the transfer device transfers the medicine pack extracted from the storage to the specific position in the delivery part. The processing circuitry manages second medication-related information of the medicine pack, and compares the first medication-related information read by the pack information reader with the second medication-related information to determine whether medication-related information matches between the first medication-related information and the second medication-related information.
SINGLE PILL DISPENSER
An apparatus for dispensing pills includes a post having a first base portion and a second rod portion. The apparatus also includes a plurality of pill dispenser modules, a turntable ring that is rotatable with respect to the post, and a housing. The housing has a generally cylindrical shape and has a plurality of pockets with each of the pockets being configured to store a single pill dispenser module of the plurality of pill dispenser modules. The housing has a center hole for slidably attaching the housing to the post, and the housing has at least one blind hole at a bottom surface of each of the cylindrical pockets with the blind hole being mateable with the turntable ring. The apparatus additionally includes turntable plate having a center thru hole to provide attachment with the post, with the turntable plate being attachable with the turntable ring.
PILL BOX
A pill box has a container and a main lid. The container has multiple storage compartments and a peripheral wall. The peripheral wall surrounds the storage compartments and forms an upper opening. The storage compartments communicate with the upper opening. The main lid is connected to the container, and has a dividing grid and multiple compartment lids. The dividing grid is pivotally connected to the container and has multiple storage compartment openings. The compartment lids are mounted on the dividing grid and are capable of covering or opening the storage compartment respectively. When the dividing grid pivots away from the container, the compartment lids are moved away from the storage compartments, and the upper opening of the container is open. Therefore, to load medications into the storage compartments, a user only has to open and close the main lid, making the pill box easier to use.
ROBOTIC DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING DESIGNATED ITEMS
A robotic device for distributing designated items to designated persons, includes: a motion unit to autonomously move said robotic device; storage means including multiple compartments; an item dispenser to dispense items from said storage means; a memory module containing optical recognition scans and personal information of persons located within a premise, and substantive information of the designated items; optical recognition scanners; a control module in communication with the motion unit, the optical recognition scanners, the memory and the item dispenser. The control unit directs movement of the robotic device, directs the optical recognition scanners to scan persons, and compares images from the optical recognition scanners to optical recognitions in the memory. Upon identifying a person, the control unit searches personal information of the person and identifies designated items specified for that person, and then directs the item dispenser to dispense the designated item.
PORTABLE MEDICATION CONTAINER
The medication container includes a generally card-shaped housing with an interior. The housing has a first opening that is sized to allow a plurality of pills to simultaneously be inserted into the interior of the housing and a first door that is movable between an open position and a closed position to selectively open and close the first opening. The housing also has a second opening that is spaced from the first opening and is configured to only allow a single dose of pills to be dispensed at a time. A second door is movable between open and closed positions. Electronic circuitry is disposed in the interior of the housing and is configured to detect the passage of the pills through the second opening and also to record data pertaining to each dispensing event to a memory contained within the interior of the housing.
Medicament dispenser
Disclosed is a medicament dispenser (1) for delivering a medicament (9, 53) to a user (2), the medical dispenser (1) comprising one or more internal storages (3, 52) for storing one or more medicaments (9, 53); a dispensing unit (10, 101) configured to access said one or more internal storages (3, 52) and dispense the medicament (9; 53) based on a predefined dispensing protocol (18); a control unit (13) comprising a user recognition unit (12, 19), adapted to collect user authentication data (76); and a communication module (14), configured to send/receive said user authentication data (76) and a delivery control data (16) associated to said predefined dispensing protocol (18) to/from a remote server (15); wherein said control unit 5 (13) is configured to enable/disable said dispensing unit (10, 101) based on said user authentication data (76) and said delivery control data (16). Also disclosed is a medicament re-filling apparatus (32) for the use with a medicament dispenser (1) upon authentication and validation of its user (2) condition.
