Blister package lid
A blister package lid includes a substrate, a layer of adhesive, and a continuous pattern of electrically conductive wire disposed directly on the adhesive layer. The continuous pattern of wire has a plurality of detector segments, and the plurality of detector segments have respective destructible portions of wire at locations on the substrate corresponding to cavities of a blister sheet. Each detector segment has an outer connector portion and an inner connector portion. The outer connector portion and the inner connector portion of each detector segment are adjacent to one another, and pairs of successive first and second detector segments of the plurality of detector segments are connected by an arced segment between the inner connector portion of the first detector segment and the outer connector portion of the second detector segment.
Storage accessory for mobile electronic device
A storage accessory that is attachable to a mobile electronic device that provides physical storage space to store items. The storage accessory can be attached to the mobile electronic device, attached to a protective case mounted on the mobile electronic device, or attached to another accessory, such as an extendable socket accessory or a ring holder/stand, that is attached to the mobile electronic device or to a protective case thereof. The storage accessory can be used to carry small items that a user desires to keep with them.
SMART CONTAINER CAP WITH DIGITAL ACCESS AUTHENTICATION
What is provided is a smart container cap device that can be unlocked remotely by a second device such as a smartphone or computer. The smart cap is sized and shaped to adhere to a standardized container lid sizing convention, such that the smart cap may be swapped for and replace a conventional container cap. The cap may also include sensors for detecting poor storage conditions (such as moisture or humidity) or tampering, or for a secondary means of granting access such as a biometric scan.
Locking medication containers and methods of use thereof
Methods and systems are described for a medication container that may be locked using a locking mechanism. In one exemplary method, a request from a user may be received by a medication provider for a medication. The medication may be placed in a medication container with a locking mechanism that is operable to lock and unlock the medication container. The medication container may be locked using the locking mechanism. The locked medication container with the medication within may be provided to the user. Subsequent to providing the locked medication container to the user, a request may be received from the user to access the medication in the medication container. A credential may be sent to the user that is usable, via the locking mechanism, to unlock the medication container. The user may then input the credential into the locking mechanism to unlock the medication container and access the medication therein.
Methods and Systems for Interactive Children's Medication and Wellness Tracking
Interactive children's medication and wellness tracking system includes a mobile application having a processor, a camera, and a storage device. The storage device is commutatively coupled to the processor, and includes scanning logic to extract medication data from at least one picture or video stream captured by the camera. The system can also include a graphical display logic to receive child data associated with at least one child of a user. Communication logic can transmit the medication data to a children's medication server and subsequently receive dosage data in response to the transmitted medication data. Graphical display logic can further display the proper dosage of the scanned medicine wherein the dosage is based on at least the child data, and dosage data. The proper dosage may be generated within the mobile application or can be generated within the children's medication server and transmitted to the mobile application for display.
CONSUMER MEDICATION ADHERENCE SYSTEM
A medication adherence system with a pill container with 2D barcodes printed along one or more compartment stores medication to be taken. A user scans the 2D barcode using a first electronic device with a mobile app installed and the user confirms the correct medication for the appropriate day and the system synchronizes scanning and scheduling data to an Internet cloud service. Separately, proxy users and caregivers can use a second electronic device to retrieve data from the cloud and manage a patient's medication scheduling and the devices are in data communication through the mobile app and associated cloud service. Proxy users can seamlessly monitor and manage medication adherence of semi-independent persons using the described system.
WEARABLE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR PRESCRIPTION ADHERENCE
A wearable computing device for monitoring and facilitating prescription adherence by a patient is provided. The wearable computing device is in communication with an inventory management server. The wearable computing device includes a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to receive a set of prescription plan data including at least a prescription identifier and a prescription rate associated with the prescription identifier. The processor is further configured to determine an inventory level associated with the prescription identifier. The processor is also configured to determine, based at least on the prescription rate, a time value representing a period of time in which a patient is prescribed to take a pharmaceutical associated with the prescription identifier. The processor is additionally configured to present a prescription inventory indicator representing the inventory level. The processor is also configured to present a timer indicator representing the time value.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT ADHERENCE IN SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT
Patients with substance abuse problems may be prescribed regular medication that dulls the positive effects of the substance. However, one of the largest challenges for substance abuse patients is that many do not regularly take their medication as they want to experience the high of the substance. Accordingly, systems and methods have been developed for medication sessions that distract the patient from taking the medicine by incorporating the reminder and other med actions in close temporal proximity.
Detection apparatus for detecting taking-out of contained object from blister pack, detection method therefor, and medication management system
To readily detect the taking-out of an object contained in a blister pack, there is provided a detection apparatus for detecting a timing at which a contained object is taken out from a blister pack including a plurality of containing portions and a plate-like portion that connects the plurality of containing portions. The apparatus includes a plate on which the blister pack is arranged, a plurality of light sources that emit light beams to the plurality of containing portions of the blister pack arranged on the plate, a plurality of sensors that receive the light beams emitted from the light sources, and also output electrical signals corresponding to light reception intensities, and a detector that detects the presence/absence of contained objects in the respective containing portions based on the electrical signals output from the plurality of sensors.
