A suction device configured to reliably support or transfer a fiber material web made from glass fibers, fleece material or paper, the suction device including a first guide roller and a second guide roller; a suction box arranged between the first guide roller and the second guide roller; and a permeable clothing that runs over the first guide roller, the second guide roller and the suction box, wherein the suction box includes an operating surface configured to impart a vacuum upon the permeable clothing that runs over the operating surface and upon the fiber material web transported on the permeable clothing during operations, wherein the operating surface is arranged and sized so that it essentially bridges an entire path traveled by the clothing between the first guide roller and the second guide roller; an additional guide roller and an additional suction box over which the permeable clothing is run.

An elongated planar or profiled component for a manufacturing machine of a fibrous cellulosic web, such as paper, board or tissue web, is at least partially formed from a composite material having a continuous polymer matrix, and reinforcing inorganic fibers embedded in the continuous polymer matrix. The continuous polymer matrix is biodegradable and the reinforcing inorganic fibers are biodegradable glass fibers. A method is disclosed for recycling elongated planar and/or profiled components used for manufacture of a fibrous web.

A roll for molding a fibrous sheet. The roll includes a rotatably driven cylindrical shell. The cylindrical shell includes an interior surface, an exterior surface, and a permeable patterned surface on the exterior surface of the shell. The permeable patterned surface has at least one of a plurality of recesses and projections, a plurality of holes extending from the exterior surface to the interior to allow air to be moved through the shell. Each hole has an exterior end and an interior end, and a plurality of grooves. Each groove is fluidly connected to the exterior end of each hole and extends outward from the corresponding hole. The roll also includes a vacuum box on the inside of the cylindrical shell to draw air from the exterior surface of the shell to the interior surface. The vacuum box is stationary with respect to the rotation of the shell.

A cleaning device, in particular for a suction roller, for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, includes a distribution line and a number of cleaning nozzles which can be supplied with a cleaning fluid via the distribution line. At least one cleaning nozzle, in particular all of the cleaning nozzles, are in the form of oscillating nozzles. A suction roller and a method for cleaning a suction roller are also provided.

A cleaning device, in particular for a suction roller, for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, includes a distribution line and a number of cleaning nozzles which can be supplied with a cleaning fluid via the distribution line. At least one cleaning nozzle, in particular all of the cleaning nozzles, are in the form of oscillating nozzles. A suction roller and a method for cleaning a suction roller are also provided.

An oscillating nozzle, in particular for a cleaning device, includes a fluid oscillator having an oscillation chamber. The oscillating nozzle is configured in an angled manner, so that the plane of the fluid jet is deflected in the interior of the nozzle. The deflection occurs downstream of the oscillation chamber. A cleaning device and a suction roller are also provided.

An oscillating nozzle, in particular for a cleaning device, includes a fluid oscillator having an oscillation chamber. The oscillating nozzle is configured in an angled manner, so that the plane of the fluid jet is deflected in the interior of the nozzle. The deflection occurs downstream of the oscillation chamber. A cleaning device and a suction roller are also provided.

A sealing device for sealing a positive or negative pressure zone of a roll for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web includes a sealing strip and a lubricating device for introducing a lubricant between an inner surface of a roll shell and a sealing surface of the sealing strip when used as intended. The lubricating device includes a plurality of lubricant outlet openings and can be connected to a supply line for supplying lubricant. The lubricating device can be connected to the supply line through a plurality of inlets which are distributed over the length of the sealing strip. The sealing strip has a first and a second longitudinal-side end and the distance from at least one longitudinal-side end, preferably both longitudinal-side ends, to an inlet is at most 800 mm. A roll and a method for operating a roll are also provided.

A sealing device for sealing a positive or negative pressure zone of a roll for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web includes a sealing strip and a lubricating device for introducing a lubricant between an inner surface of a roll shell and a sealing surface of the sealing strip when used as intended. The lubricating device includes a plurality of lubricant outlet openings and can be connected to a supply line for supplying lubricant. The lubricating device can be connected to the supply line through a plurality of inlets which are distributed over the length of the sealing strip. The sealing strip has a first and a second longitudinal-side end and the distance from at least one longitudinal-side end, preferably both longitudinal-side ends, to an inlet is at most 800 mm. A roll and a method for operating a roll are also provided.
