PAPERMAKING FELT AND A METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
20220064857 · 2022-03-03 · ·

The object of the present invention is to provide a papermaking felt having good productivity and a laminated structure using 2 or more plain weave base fabrics that can be bonded to each other, wherein the joint portions do not open when a batt fiber layer is attached or when the felt is used, and to provide a method for producing the same.

This is achieved by a papermaking felt made from an MD yarn material in the felt running direction (MD direction) and a CD yarn material in the felt cross-direction (CD direction), comprising a combination in which 2 or more base fabrics are directly overlapped with each other, which have a joint portion in which the MD direction end portions are joined which comprise a 1st MD direction end portion and a 2nd MD direction end portion wherein, with regard to the base fabrics having all included joint portions, the equations (1) and (2) hereinafter are satisfied when the maximum distance in the MD direction between the joint portions of the base fabrics is x (cm) and the minimum distance thereof is y (cm).

[Problem] To provide a contamination preventing agent composition capable of effectively preventing pitch contamination in a dry part. [Solution] The present invention relates to a contamination preventing agent composition for preventing pitch contamination in a dry part D of a papermaking process, the composition containing: a linear polysiloxane compound represented by formula (1); and a cyclic siloxane compound. [In formula (1), a substituent R.sup.1 represents, in the same molecule, a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a methylphenyl group, a polyether group, a higher fatty acid ester group, an amino-modified group, an epoxy-modified group, a carboxylic group, a phenol group, a mercapto group, a carbinol group, or a methacrylic group, and a repeating number n of a siloxane unit represents an integer of 20-1430.] ##STR00001##

PRESS COVER, USE THEREOF, AND PRESS ROLL AND SHOE PRESS
20210324579 · 2021-10-21 ·

A press cover has at least one polymer layer in which a reinforcing structure is embedded. The reinforcing structure has at least one reinforcing thread as a longitudinal thread which runs in the longitudinal direction of the press cover. The at least one reinforcing thread itself is produced by interlacing a plurality of fibers or fiber bundles with one another. There is also described the use of such a press cover, as well as a press roll and a shoe press.

A FABRIC FOR A WEB-PRODUCING MACHINE AND SUCH A MACHINE WITH A CORRESPONDING FABRIC
20210310192 · 2021-10-07 ·

A fabric for a web-producing machine, such as a papermaker's machine for producing paper, tissue or board, contains a machine-side and a paper-side. The fabric further contains MD-yarns and CD-yarns interwoven with each other in a predetermined repeat pattern. The MD-yarns 12 have a non-circular cross-section, and a width-to-height aspect ratio of the MD-yarns 12 is greater than 10:1, preferably at least 11:1. Furthermore, a web-producing machine, such as a papermaker's machine for producing paper, tissue or board, contains a fabric of the above described type, where the fabric is preferably applied in a dryer section of the web-producing machine.

SEAMED PRESS FELT WITH MONOFILAMENT SEAM SUPPORT YARNS

A seamed press felt formed from a base fabric having a CD width and an MD length with two opposing MD ends that are joined to form a continuous belt. MD oriented yarns form uniform loops at the two opposing MD ends that are interdigitated to define a pintle channel extending across the CD width. CD oriented yarns are connected to the MD oriented yarns, in a woven or non-woven construction. Loop open spaces are located within the loops on each of the two opposing MD ends in a seam region, with the loop open spaces being defined between a last one of the CD yarns at each of the two opposing MD ends and the pintle channel. At least one CD monofilament support yarn is located in the loop open spaces on each of the two opposing MD ends. The at least one CD monofilament support yarn has a diameter that is at least 1.6 times a diameter of the CD oriented yarns. A pintle extends through the pintle channel to form a seam.

Clothing for a machine for producing a fibrous web and method for producing a clothing of this type

A covering is particularly suited for use in a machine for producing and/or finishing a paper, cardboard, tissue or pulp web. The covering has a basic structure formed as a part of a flat woven material, which flat woven material is designed as a woven material by interlacing warp threads and weft threads. The portion of the flat woven material has a plurality of sections that are formed integrally with each other, with at least one property of one of the sections differing from the respective property of at least one adjacent section.
