MULTILAYER FILM COMPRISING HIGHLY REFINED CELLULOSE FIBERS
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multilayer film comprising highly refined cellulose fibers, the method comprising the steps of: a) forming a first wet web by applying a first pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose fibers on a first wire; b) partially dewatering the first wet web to obtain a first partially dewatered web; c) forming a second wet web y applying a foamed second pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose fibers and a foaming agent on a second wire; d) partially dewatering the foamed second wet web to obtain a second partially dewatered web; e) joining the first and second partially dewatered web to obtain a multilayer web; and f) further dewatering, and optionally drying, the multilayer web to obtain a multilayer film comprising highly refined cellulose fibers.
METHOD TO PRODUCE A PAPERBOARD, A PAPERBOARD AND A CORRUGATED BOARD
A method for producing a paperboard comprising the steps of; providing a furnish comprising cellulosic fibers, applying the furnish on at least one wire to form a web, dewatering the web on said at least one wire by subjecting the web to a pressure above 150 kPa without the use of a press roll nip and thereafter pressing the dewatered web to form a paperboard. Also a paperboard and a corrugated board produced by such a process.
LAMINATE, PROCESS, AND USE
A paper, or cardboard, or card stock material is made from an organic material, such as ground-up sunflower seeds using an organic binder, such as a glue, which may have the form of a polysaccharide e.g., a long chain naturally occurring sugar. A water resistant, or water impermeable coating, such as a PLA coating, is applied to one or both sides of the card stock to form a laminate. The card stock may be formed into a shape or structure, such as a carton, or bowl, or cup, either prior to or after coating. The card stock material or the primary layer, the binder, and the plastic coating are all based on materials that are typically considered to be waste by-products of agricultural or food services processing, and they are all materials that may tend to be suitable for composting or biodegradation.

Laminate and method for producing laminate
An object of the present invention is to provide a laminate having a fiber layer comprising ultrafine cellulose fibers and a resin layer, wherein the two layers have more excellent adhesion properties. The present invention relates to a laminate having at least one fiber layer comprising cellulose fibers with a fiber width of 1000 nm or less, and at least one resin layer that is contacted with one surface of the fiber layer, wherein the resin layer has an adhesion aid.

PAPER-SPECIFIC MOISTURE CONTROL IN A TRAVELING PAPER WEB
A network-based system and method for providing desired moisture set point values for individual papers lines based on the physical properties of each liner and the atmospheric conditions associated with a corrugator is disclosed. The desired moisture set point values are based on the hygroexpansivity of each individual paper liner. Once the moisture set point value has been determined, a conditioning apparatus adjusts a moisture value for each liner in order to tune the post-warp characteristics of the final corrugated product.

Method for manufacturing a multi-layered paperboard, multi-layered paperboard and composition for use in multi-layered paperboard manufacturing
A method for manufacturing a multi-layered paperboard is disclosed, which includes at least two fibrous layers, in which method at least one layer of the multi-layered paperboard is treated by applying an aqueous solution of a first strength component in dissolved form including anionic strength polymer and/or amphoteric strength polymer composition on a surface of layer, and an aqueous solution of a cationic second strength component in dissolved form is added to a fibre stock from which at least one of the fibrous layers joined together is formed.
