HOLDER FOR FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
A holder system comprises a holder (1), provided with a seal (2) and an external circumferential band (3). A slip ring (4) is provided which can be pressed against the seal (2) in the direction shown by the arrows (5) provided on the slip ring to form a snap fit with the holder. Above the holder is a collar (6) designed to engage with the upper surface (7) of the holder. FIG. 2 shows a teat (8) provided with a band (9) at its lower end which engages with a lug inside the holder (1) to provide a tight seal, the cap (10) is placeable in the collar. The attachment of the collar (6) to the holder (1) secures the teat in position.
A DISPENSER
A kit of parts for a feeder has a body and a bung that can slide within the body. A periphery of the bung can form a sliding seal between that periphery and the internal side walls of the body. A base cap has an aperture and is mountable at a lower end of the body to substantially occlude that end and allow airflow through the aperture into the body as the bung moves away. The kit has a teat mouthpiece for liquid foods, a sipper mouthpiece for pureed food, and a spout mouthpiece for mashed food and a pump attachment. The pump attachment has a pump and a spoon. The pump has a pump bung which moves reciprocatingly within the body and forms a sliding seal with the internal side walls. A valve allows food to flow from the feeder but prevents the flow of food into the feeder.
System for sealing a container for storing and delivering a product
In an embodiment, a system including a closure device, the closure device including an opening for providing fluid communication there through, an outflow component configured to be disposed over the closure device, the outflow component including an outflow aperture to provide fluid communication between the outflow component and a user, and a securing member for supporting the outflow component in a position over the closure device is provided. The system further includes a stopper component removably engageable with the opening of the closure device, wherein when the stopper component is engaged with the opening, the stopper component obstructs the opening preventing a flow of fluid through the opening, and wherein displacement of the stopper component from the opening allows fluid communication through the opening.
VENTED FLUID TRANSFER LID
A vented transfer lid includes an inner collar projecting from a top panel of the transfer lid and having an outer circumferential surface having a texturized EDM surface finish. In some example forms, an interior surface of the top panel includes a texturized EDM surface finish. In example forms, the transfer lid includes a transfer port wherein at least a portion of an interior surface of the transfer port includes a texturized EDM surface finish. In other embodiments, at least a portion of the vented transfer lid comprises a nonpolar boundary such that fluids exposed to the nonpolar boundary bead and form droplets having a dimension rendering them incapable of passing through one or more vent paths.
SYSTEM FOR ASEPTIC COLLECTION AND ENTERAL DELIVERY
A container for collecting, storing and dispensing fluid, as in enteral feeding and/or medication deliver to neonatal infants. The container includes a hollow tube with a body, a first end, a second end, and an outer diameter. The hollow tube is configured to receive a movable plunger that advances and retracts therein to define a variable contained volume. The container also includes a sealing head assembly removably mounted at an end of the hollow tube. The sealing head assembly has a diameter or outside dimension that is substantially similar or identical to a corresponding outside diameter or dimension of the hollow tube, so that the container lies flat within the receiver of an enteral feeding pump.
Bottle With Time Indication Device
A bottle with time indication device for indicating a selected time includes a bottle containing a perishable liquid. A nipple is removably positioned upon the bottle and provides an access for a mouth of a user to suck the perishable liquid out from the bottle. A collar removably secures the nipple to the bottle and a time indicator is coupled to the collar and displays a selected time of day, thus the selected time of day corresponds to using the perishable liquid within the bottle.
Multipurpose bottle cap and methods of making and using same
A dual chambered receptacle configured to retain a first ingredient and a second ingredient comprises a first portion having a cover and a rupturing member. The receptacle includes a second portion having a cup and a perimeter portion. The second portion is configured to be removably secured to the first portion. The cup is configured to retain the first ingredient. A seal is coupled to first portion and the second portion when the first portion is removably secured to the second portion. The receptacle includes a vessel having a mouth. The vessel is configured to retain the second ingredient. The seal is configured to detach from the second portion to allow the first ingredient to fall into the vessel to mix with the second ingredient when the first portion is moved relative to the second portion.
BOTTLE ASSEMBLY VENT INSERT WITH SIPHONING MEMBER
A feeding assembly includes a container having an open top and defining a liquid chamber therein for holding a liquid. A collar assembly defines a closure for the open top of the container upon assembly with the container. A vent assembly is positionable at least in part on the open top of the container and is configured to facilitate venting of the container to atmosphere as liquid exits the feeding assembly during feeding. The vent assembly being disposed intermediate the container and the nipple, has at least one opening through which liquid is able to flow from the container to the nipple during feeding. The vent assembly has a siphon member extending longitudinally of the feeding assembly and generally away from the nipple and is configured to facilitate the flow of liquid from the nipple back into the container when feeding is ceased and the container is oriented generally upright.
Apparatus, device, and method for infant gavage feeding
The disclosure includes embodiments of an apparatus, a device, and methods to transform an infant feeding bottle into an infant gavage feeding apparatus. According to an embodiment, an infant gavage feeding apparatus can include an infant feeding bottle, a gavage milk delivery component, a retaining ring, and a cord component. In another embodiment, infant milk dual-delivery device to transform an infant feeding bottle to an alternate nipple feeding and gavage feeding apparatus includes a gavage milk delivery component, a retaining ring, and a nipple receiving component. The gavage milk delivery component and the nipple receiving component can be positioned in a branched or a stacked configuration. The device can include a flow closure component and a controller to transition the milk flow for a gavage feeding and nipple feeding. The device can include a funnel to allow milk in the nipple to flow back into the infant feeding bottle.
Food Storage and Management System
The present invention is directed toward a food storage container comprising a body with a mechanism for denoting a time in which a food item was placed in the storage container for storage. In one embodiment, the time designation mechanism comprises a plurality of rings where each ring comprises at least one marker. Time is denoted by aligning the marker with a label located proximate to said ring.
