FIBER PROCESSING DEVICE, FIBROUS FEEDSTOCK RECYCLING DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD OF A FIBER PROCESSING DEVICE
Variation in the amount of material that is dispersed when material containing fiber is discharged by a sieve is suppressed. A fiber processing device has a drum that screens defibrated material containing fiber, a mesh belt that accumulates first screened material discharged from the drum, and a processor that processes the first screened material accumulated on the mesh belt. The drum operates at a first speed during processing by the processor; and when the drum starts from a stationary stop, a startup operation including a state in which the drum operates at a slower speed than the first speed executes for a specific time.

Method of designing model predictive control for cross directional flat sheet manufacturing processes to guarantee temporal robust stability and performance
Automated parameter tuning techniques for cross-directional model predictive control for paper-making under user-specified parametric uncertainties are developed. The CD-MPC design explicitly accounts for parametric model uncertainty while finding a value for the CD profile trajectory generation that minimizes the CD settling time of the measurement 2 sigma spread and does not exceed an overshoot limit for actuator 2 sigma spread. The inventive technique includes: (i) providing uncertainty specifications for the temporal parameters of the process model, (ii) specifying 2 sigma overshoot limits for the CD actuator profile, (iii) using robust stability theory to find a minimum bound for the profile trajectory tuning parameter, (iv) using a frequency domain technique to reduce the search range for the profile trajectory tuning parameter, and (v) performing an intelligent search for the tuning parameter that minimizes measurement 2 sigma settling time without exceeding the actuator 2 sigma overshoot limit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY PRODUCING A PLURALITY OF CONTAINERS COMPRISING FIBERS
The disclosure relates to a device for simultaneously producing a plurality of containers comprising fibers, using fiber-containing pulp. The disclosure furthermore relates to a method for simultaneously producing a plurality of containers comprising fibers, using fiber-containing pulp by means of the device.
Monitoring system
An object is to provide a monitoring system capable of preventing the occurrence of a defect in paper by monitoring the device. The present invention is directed to a monitoring system A having a papermaking machine 1 for manufacturing paper X, an applying device 2 for applying a chemical solution to a site of the papermaking machine directly or indirectly in contact with the paper while the papermaking machine 1 is operated, a control panel 3 for setting an application condition of the applying device 2, a monitoring camera 4 for monitoring a monitoring target site, and a control device 5 connected to the monitoring camera 4 via a network. The monitoring target site is the site of the papermaking machine 1 directly or indirectly in contact with the paper X and/or the applying device 2, and the control device 5 has a computing unit S1 which converts a state of the monitoring target site into a numerical form by using video taken by the monitoring camera 4, a display unit S2 which displays detection data obtained by conversion into the numerical form at the computing unit S1, and a storage unit S3 which stores the detection data.
System and method of producing micro fibrillated cellulose (MFC)
The invention relates to a system of producing MFC (micro fibrillated cellulose) having a process device (30) of a pulper, a refiner or a screen configured to process MFC suspension to consistency of 0.5-5%. The system has a continuous pressing means (15; 25, 26) configured to dry the MFC suspension to a consistency of 6-60%. A method of producing MFC has at least one process stage (30) which processes a MFC suspension to a consistency of 0.5-5% by a process device (30). In the process stage the MFC suspension is pulped in a pulping stage in a pulper and/or refined in a refining stage by a refiner and/or screened in a screening stage by a screen. The MFC suspension having the consistency of 0.5-5% is dried in a drying stage of continuous pressing (15, 25, 26) by continuous a pressing device (15, 25, 26) to a consistency of 6-60%.
