Heated Baby Bottle Assembly
A heated baby bottle assembly includes a baby bottle for containing a fluid baby food. An insulating layer is wrapped around the baby bottle and the insulating layer is comprised of a thermally insulating material thereby inhibiting thermal communication between the baby bottle and ambient air. A pair of nipples is provided and a respective one of the nipples is removably attachable to the baby bottle thereby facilitating the fluid baby food to be consumed through the respective nipple. A heating element is integrated into the baby bottle to heat the baby bottle when the heating element is turned on thereby heating the fluid baby food in the baby bottle. A control unit is integrated into the baby bottle and the control unit actuates the heating element to a selectable temperature thereby facilitating the fluid baby food to be retained at the selected temperature.
MULTI-ANGLE FEEDING CUP
The invention relates to a multi-angle cup for feeding liquid food to a patient, the cup including, a body including a wall and an exit channel extending at an angle from the wall. A mouth part is also included, extending from the angled exit channel and an inclined angle to enable the patient to be fed liquid food in a controlled manner to the posterior aspect of the tongue through use of a bulb with a hole and valve arrangement. The multi-angle feeding cup enables feeding at substantially any angle of tilt of the cup, and the flow of the liquid food is controlled by the mouth piece. The invention also relates to methods of use and a method of testing.
AIR-FREE, FLOW-CONTROL FEEDING BOTTLE
A baby feeding bottle (1) comprising a cavity (2) adapted to hold a fluid; and a nipple (3) having an opening (4), the nipple (3) is coupled to the cavity, so as to allow the fluid to pass through the opening (4) of the nipple (3), wherein the nipple (3) further comprises a tube (5) which is placed within the nipple (3), and a sealed end (6) of the tube (5) is coupled to the opening of the nipple, and a free end (7) opposite to the sealed end (6) is having a flexible closure (8) adapted to be in an open position to allow the flow of the fluid on application of force onto an outer surface of the nipple (3), and to be in a closed position to disallow the flow of the fluid on removing the force onto the outer surface of the nipple (3). Embodiments including an assembly of the feeding bottle and method for using the feeding bottle is are also presented.
Squeezable leak proof feeding bottle
A reusable food pouch having a removably insertable one-way valve is disclosed herein. The one-way valve may be used with the reusable food pouch if food product having a water-like consistency is being stored in the reusable food pouch to prevent spills if the reusable food pouch is inadvertently laid on its side. Conversely, the one-way valve may be removed from the reusable food pouch if the food product has a consistency more like thick oatmeal and/or applesauce to allow for free flow of the food product through a spout of the reusable food pouch.
TEATS FOR FEEDING BOTTLES
A feeding teat for use with a bottle that contains a fluid includes a nipple defining an orifice at a terminal end and an interior profile shaped by multiple intersecting reverse curves that generally decreases an interior diameter of the nipple toward the orifice for directing a flow of the fluid into the orifice, a flange configured to be releasably coupled to the bottle such that the fluid can flow from the bottle into the feeding teat, an intermediate portion integrally connecting the nipple to the flange, and a pressure relief valve extending laterally from the intermediate portion and configured to admit air into an interior region formed by the feeding teat and the bottle.
NIPPLE STRUCTURE
A pacifier structure is mounted on a nursing bottle containing a rotatable cap, a body, and a filtration member. The rotatable cap includes a peripheral groove, the body includes a suction portion and a surround plane, the surround plane has an air valve, the surround plane connects with the peripheral groove to produce an air chamber, and a trench is defined between the body and the peripheral groove. The filtration member includes a ring portion, at least one connection tab, and a mesh portion. The ring portion has an arcuate recess, a diameter defined by the at least one connection tab is more than an inner diameter of the body, the mesh portion has a large section adjacent to the ring portion and a small section away from the ring portion. The large section is more than the small section, and the mesh portion has multiple orifices.
FLOWABLE FOOD FEEDING DEVICE
A container for feeding a patient includes a deformable receptacle having a cavity for holding a flowable food product and a rigid cover attachable to the upper end of the deformable receptacle. The rigid cover may have a male feeding tube connector that is uniquely connectable to a female feeding tube connector of a feeding tube or may have a female feeding tube connector that is uniquely connectable to a male feeding tube connector of a syringe. With the male and female feeding tube connectors connected, the deformable receptacle and the feeding tube or syringe are in fluid tight fluid communication to allow the flowable food product to be forced out of the opening of the deformable receptacle and into the feeding tube or syringe when the deformable receptacle is squeezed.
User controllable noncollapsible variable stream physiological dispenser in the form of a patterned nipple
A user controllable noncollapsible variable stream physiological dispenser for a container is disclosed which comprises a nipple having a top nipple portion which extends to an intermediate concave section which extends to a lower dome-shaped body and to a flange, the flange used for being held to a bottle by a collar, the nipple having openings formed in the top nipple portion, an open bottom provided at the flange with the nipple having a hollow body through which liquid may pass from the open bottom through the body and out the openings.
UNIDIRECTIONAL VALVE FOR PRESURIZED CONTAINERS
In a nipple for a baby feeding container, a valve part is disclosed, comprising a unidirectional valve formed of a pliable material and oppositely oriented such that when attached to the container a normal fluid flow through the valve is into the container while a flow from the container to the outside is normally blocked, the valve is characterized by a plurality of normally closed non intersecting slits formed in a deformable wall which blocks the flow of liquid from the container to the outside unless when the slits become temporarily distorted by the natural mouth maneuverings of a baby. The valve is especially advantageous for use in baby feeding containers of inflatable type in which the liquid content is pressurized under the pressure exerted by the stretched elastomeric walls of the container.
