Feeding apparatus

A feeding apparatus includes a food container. The food container includes an open end and a closed end. The food container is provided on a surface thereof with a plurality of apertures and a plurality of protrusions. The food container is made of a resilient material for use with foodstuff.

Bottle Teat and Cap for a Drinking Bottle
20170112720 · 2017-04-27 · ·

A bottle teat consisting of a soft elastic material for a drinking bottle, in particular for infants and small children, having: a teat flange, a hollow teat sleeve that projects upward from the teat flange and is connected at its bottom end to the teat flange, a hollow suction part that is connected at its bottom end to the top end of the hollow teat sleeve and projects upward therefrom, a dome-shaped palate-contacting region on a side of the mouthpiece facing the palate, at least one drinking hole in the palate-contacting region that extends from the outside to the inside of the mouthpiece,

wherein: an elevated surface that bulges to the outside is on the outside of the palate-contacting region, and the at least one drinking hole is arranged in the elevated surface so that the suction part with the elevated surface can be pressed in a sealing manner against an inwardly bulging sealing surface on the inside of the cap bottom of a cap to cover the bottle teat.

Partitioning component for a feeding bottle

A partitioning component (210) for dividing a feeding bottle (110) into two sections: one (125) associated with a container (120) part of the bottle and one (115) associated with a teat part (110) of the bottle. The partition allows for at least partial retention of liquid in the teat part even when the bottle is tipped in a horizontal position, the more natural position for feeding a user such as a baby or toddler. To enable flow of fluid between the two sections, the partitioning component comprises a passageway arrangement (215) which comprises one or more openings (225) and the passageway arrangement configured to enable flow of both liquid and air across the partition in different directions. This allows liquid to pass in, and air to pass out, of the teat section (115) during filling of the teat. To enable maximal retention of liquid inside the teat section when the bottle is tilted in the horizontal position, the openings of the passageway arrangement are all confined to a single region of the partitioning component which, in use, is arranged offset on one diametric side of the bottle volume or of the teat volume.

Teat for a bottle and a bottle having the teat

A teat for a bottle has a nipple portion at which there is a recessed valve portion. The valve portion is domed outwardly.

Flowable food feeding device
12509267 · 2025-12-30 ·

A container for feeding a patient includes a deformable receptacle having a cavity for holding a flowable food product and a rigid cover attachable to the upper end of the deformable receptacle. The rigid cover may have a male feeding tube connector that is uniquely connectable to a female feeding tube connector of a feeding tube or may have a female feeding tube connector that is uniquely connectable to a male feeding tube connector of a syringe. With the male and female feeding tube connectors connected, the deformable receptacle and the feeding tube or syringe are in fluid tight fluid communication to allow the flowable food product to be forced out of the opening of the deformable receptacle and into the feeding tube or syringe when the deformable receptacle is squeezed.

BABY BOTTLE

An improved baby bottle having an exterior shell (or sleeve) housing a flexible bladder. The improved baby bottle comprises a collar and a hood affixable over the collar. In some embodiments, the hood comprises one or more laterally-protruding tabs. In other embodiments, the exterior shell defines an open bottom end and/or is metered. The nipple of the bottle comprises a slit shaped to form cusps which pull away from the nipple when sucked.

COMPLIANT INFANT SUCKLING DEVICE
20260102318 · 2026-04-16 · ·

Nutritive and non-nutritive suckling devices made entirely of a soft, highly deformable elastomer includes a completely and/or partially filled nipple portion constructed of a low durometer elastomer. For nipple feeding, one or more ducts longitudinally extend through the completely-filled nipple portion. The nipple portion has sufficient axial strength to pass biting and elongation failure in regulatory testing yet is sufficiently radially compliant that a <8 PSI transverse compressive pressure can compress the nipple duct(s) to shut off fluid flow. An attachment design allows the soft highly deformable elastomer of the nipple base to resist detachment from the bottle collar when screwed onto the bottle under >20 pounds axial load. A non-nutritive pacifier device includes a completely-filled nipple portion having an open interior volume portion with a wall thickness adjusted to replicate the feel of a human nipple and an areola wall thickness sufficient to resist collapse during use.
