A PACKAGING MATERIAL AND A POUCHED PRODUCT FOR ORAL USE
The present invention relates to a packaging material for use in a pouched product for oral use in order to enclose a filling material. The packaging material is a saliva-permeable nonwoven material comprising fibres. The packaging material is a wetlaid nonwoven material, or, alternatively, the fibres are carded and the nonwoven material is hydroentangled, or, alternatively, the fibres are carded and the packaging material has a basis weight ≤30 g/m.sup.2. 50%-100% of the fibres are cellulose-based staple fibres, and 0%-50% of the fibres are thermoplastic fibres, with % numbers being based on total weight of fibres at 21° C. and 50% RH. The packaging material further comprising at least 10% of a binder, taken as a wt % of a total weight of the packaging material. The present invention also relates to a pouched product for oral use comprising such a packaging material. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing of a packaging material for a pouched product for oral use.
THERMOPLASTIC FIBROUS MATERIALS AND A METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of thermoplastic fibrous materials comprising forming at least one foamed liquid comprising water and at least one foaming agent, forming a dispersion by dispersing fibers including long fibers in said at least one foamed liquid comprising water and at least one foaming agent, mixing the dispersion with a foamable liquid or dispersion comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer, forming at least one foamed dispersion, and conveying the foamed dispersion or dispersions to a foraminous support and draining liquid trough the foraminous support to form a web or a sheet, to obtain the thermoplastic fibrous material. The invention also relates to materials and products obtainable by the method, and uses related thereto.
Fibrillated blend of lyocell low DP pulp
A fibrillated blend of lyocell and cellulosic pulp having a degree of polymerization of 200 to 1000 as measured by ASTM Test 1795-96, a method of making the blend and materials which incorporate the blend.
Specialty pulp with high intrinsic viscosity
A method for making a specialty fiber by activating pulp in an alkaline aqueous medium, then reacting it a water-soluble, multi-functional reagent able to bridge neighboring cellulose chain within a single fiber. The resultant specialty cellulose fibers have high intrinsic viscosity and may be used to make cellulose ethers, cellulose acetate, and viscose.
RESIN-CONTAINING SHEET, AND STRUCTURE AND WIRING BOARD USING SAME
Provided are: a resin-containing sheet in which not only the mechanical strength of a cellulose nanofiber nonwoven fabric but also the flexural resistance of a substrate are improved; and a structure and a wiring board which include the same. The resin-containing sheet includes: a specific cellulose nanofiber nonwoven fabric (11); a fixing agent (2) which fixes together fibers (1) in the cellulose nanofiber nonwoven fabric (11); and a resin (3) which is in contact with the cellulose nanofiber nonwoven fabric (11) and the fixing agent (2), wherein the storage modulus of the fixing agent (2) is higher than that of the resin (3). The structure is obtained by tightly adhering the resin-containing sheet to a substrate. The wiring board includes this structure.
Method of Marking Cellulosic Products
Methods for marking cellulosic products, including cellulosic fibers such as lyocell and cellulosic films, including methods for marking such products with a detectable nucleic acid marker to identify and validate the origin or authenticity of the products or items manufactured using such products. Detectably-marked cellulosic products marked with nucleic acid markers for authentication, validation and tracking are also provided.
THIN-FILM SHEET INCLUDING CELLULOSE FINE-FIBER LAYER
The present invention provides a thin-film sheet configured from a single layer or a plurality of layers less than or equal to three layers including at least a cellulose fine-fiber layer that includes regenerated cellulose fine fibers by 50 wt % or more, wherein the thin-film sheet achieves improvements in both thermal stability (thermal coefficient of linear expansion and retention of elasticity at high temperature) and sheet strength, and is characterized in that the requirements: (1) the specific surface area equivalent fiber diameter of fibers constituting the cellulose fine-fiber layer is 0.20-2.0 μm inclusive; (2) the air impermeability is 1-100,000 s/100 ml inclusive; and (3) the sheet thickness is 2-22 μm inclusive are satisfied. The present invention also provides a composite sheet, a composite prepreg sheet, a separator for power storage devices, etc., that include the thin-film sheet.
