Teat for a baby product
A teat for a baby product comprises a flexible wall which is collapsible and has first and second protrusions disposed on an inner face thereof. When a force is applied to the wall, portions of the wall are brought proximal to one another and a protrusion is arranged to contact the inner face of the wall.
Nipple and Nipple Assembly
A nipple for use with an infant drinking cup is disclosed herein. The nipple comprises a domed portion having a central region and an inner surface, a teat portion radially offset from the central region, and a radially-outer wall. The radially-outer wall is joined to the domed portion at a joining location and comprises an inner fluid-flow surface, defining a fluid flow direction. A region of the inner surface of the domed portion at the joining location is substantially parallel to said fluid flow direction, or the inner fluid-flow surface of the teat portion extends radially outwardly, away from said region of the inner surface of the domed portion at the joining location.
Infant bottle and feeding method therefor
An infant bottle (10) method and kit, wherein the bottle comprising: a disposable bag (20), for containing a beverage (30, 44, 46); a foldable bag frame (16), for deploying therein the disposable bag (20) at a deployed state of the foldable bag frame (16), wherein a folded state thereof occupies less space than an unfolded state thereof; and a teat (14), for covering the disposable bag (20) in a sealed manner, thereby resulting in a compact infant bottle (10) at a folded state of the foldable bag frame (16), and sealable upon deployment.
Bite-safe artificial teat
A bite-safe artificial nipple is constructed of polymeric materials sufficiently soft and elastic to replicate a nursing mother's nipple tissue. Added to the soft, elastic matrix phase is a braided fibrous mesh tube to prevent a small bitten-off portion of the nipple from becoming separated from the rest of the teat, thereby preventing a choking hazard. The braided fibrous mesh tube is arranged in a very specific configuration, so that it experiences neither tension nor compression as the teat is compressed or elongated in use and so does not act to reinforce the soft, elastic matrix phase which would otherwise create a classic load-transfer composite destroying the soft, elastic properties of the matrix phase needed for the desired functioning of the artificial teat.

METHOD FOR IMPROVING A BITE-SAFTE ARTIFICIAL TEAT AND LIKE PRODUCTS
A method of making an insert for a substantially solid cylindrical article that is constructed from a highly elastic material and braided fiber forming a mesh of very specific geometry, which supports any application that requires protection from cutting, puncture or similar damage while preserving high deformability of the article, particularly radial compressibility and/or axial elongation.
TEAT
A teat including at least a shaft and a nipple, wherein structured surface areas are provided at least in a partial region thereof, and the structured surface areas are formed by at least one rough surface zone having a surface roughness of 100 m at the most, or 50 m at the most.
Mason Baby Bottle Lid
A mason jar baby bottle lid includes a metal threaded mason jar collar and a bottle nipple formed of a flexible and non-toxic material. The bottle nipple has a domed body portion having a nipple projecting from an upper end of the domed body, a flange including an upward-projecting lip formed on the lower end of the domed body, and an annular indentation formed between the flange and the domed body of the bottle nipple and including an overhang surface. A height of the upwardly protruding lip of the flange is such that when the bottle nipple is engaged with the mason jar collar, the overhang surface is adjacent the substantially flat upper surface of the collar.
COMPLIANT INFANT SUCKLING DEVICE
Nutritive and non-nutritive suckling devices made entirely of a soft, highly deformable elastomer includes a completely and/or partially filled nipple portion constructed of a low durometer elastomer. For nipple feeding, one or more ducts longitudinally extend through the completely-filled nipple portion. The nipple portion has sufficient axial strength to pass biting and elongation failure in regulatory testing yet is sufficiently radially compliant that a <8 PSI transverse compressive pressure can compress the nipple duct(s) to shut off fluid flow. An attachment design allows the soft highly deformable elastomer of the nipple base to resist detachment from the bottle collar when screwed onto the bottle under >20 pounds axial load. A non-nutritive pacifier device includes a completely-filled nipple portion having an open interior volume portion with a wall thickness adjusted to replicate the feel of a human nipple and an areola wall thickness sufficient to resist collapse during use.
