A manufacturing method of a paper, board or the like having a grammage in a range of 125-600 g/m.sup.2, preferably 150-210 g/m.sup.2, including adding a paper sizing agent including maleated vegetable oil and an alkenyl succinic anhydride (ASA) to a fibre stock including at least 80 weight-% of recycled fibre material and having calcium concentration of at least 500 mg/l, expressed as CaO.
