COTTON GIN FOR PNEUMATIC COTTON HARVESTING MACHINE
A cotton gin for use in a pneumatic cotton harvesting machine. The gin is located in the harvester downstream of the pneumatic picking heads. The gin receives seed bearing cotton balls on a front side of a fiber separation plate. Co-acting and oppositely rotating toothed fiber separation blades protrude through the separation plate and incrementally tear the cotton fiber free from the cotton ball leaving behind the seeds. The separated cotton fiber is, thereafter, drawn from the back or downstream side of the separation plate to a dust collector and then bailed in a dry condition in the harvester in the field. The separated seeds remain in the gin and fall downwardly, via gravity toward and into a seed collecting bin.

GINNING RIB FOR USE IN A SAW TYPE COTTON GIN STAND
A ginning rib for use in a saw type cotton gin stand constructed from a plate or sheet of raw material, with the material thickness defining the width of the rib, and the shape or profile of the rib defined by the path of the cutting means of the plate or sheet. Furthermore, the shape of the rib being such that it can be economically produced with current cutting technology while concurrently of a unique design to reduce raw material waste, and to include features improving functional reliability and serviceability.

Saw gin stand safety assembly
A saw gin stand safety assembly for holding a fibrous material for ginning with a rotating ginning equipment. The saw gin stand safety assembly comprises an outer shell, a throat, a picker-agitator motor, an amperage draw sensor and the rotating ginning equipment. The rotating ginning equipment comprises at least a picker roller. The amperage draw sensor monitors a power usage of the picker-agitator motor. The saw gin stand safety assembly is configured to adjust an RPM of the picker-agitator motor according to an amperage draw signal generated by the amperage draw sensor. The throat is configured for holding the fibrous material comprising cotton during the ginning process. The saw gin stand safety assembly further comprises the amperage draw sensor. The saw gin stand safety assembly is configured to adjust the RPM of the picker-agitator motor to avoid choaking of the fibrous material in the rotating ginning equipment and the throat.
