Low profile gastrostomy tubes
Devices, systems and methods for delivering nutrients to a patient are provided. A gastrostomy feeding device includes a device housing having a proximal portion having an opening therein, a channel operably connected to the opening in the proximal portion, a distal portion having an opening therein, a lumen operably connected to the opening in the distal portion, and a cavity formed within the device housing. The device also includes a rotatable member positioned completely within the cavity and that is rotatable within the cavity relative to the housing. The rotatable member includes a first opening and a second opening and a lumen extending therebetween. The rotatable member is rotatable from a closed configuration to an open configuration where the second opening of the rotatable member is operably connected to the lumen of the device housing. The device further includes an expandable member positioned on the distal portion.
ENTERAL FAST ACCESS TRACT PLATFORM SYSTEM
A gastrointestinal administration device comprising an elongated tube or track, an anchor and a channel, which allows the proximal end of the tube or track to be wholly secured inside the mouth from where it passes down the lateral oropharynx to the desired site in the gastrointestinal tract. This system may be used to administer nutrients, fluids, medications, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements and/or non-nutrient gastrointestinal stimulants or other therapies directly to a desired site in the gastrointestinal tract in humans and animals for a variety of purposes including novel applications such as weight and glucose control, local administration of medication and storage of a deposit of a therapeutic agent. It may also be used for monitoring of processes inside the gastrointestinal tract.
Transnasal Tube
This invention relates to a transnasal tube assembly comprising a transnasal tube and an integrated tether for anchoring the transnasal tube, wherein the integrated tether is permanently fixed to the transnasal tube at a first fixation point, and wherein the integrated tether is reversibly fixable to the transnasal tube at a second fixation point.
Sheath for gastrostoma, sheathed dilator, sheath for gastrostoma with insertion aid, gastrostomy catheter kit, and method of splitting sheath for gastrostoma
The present invention provides a sheath for gastrostoma (1), a sheathed dilator, a gastrostomy catheter kit and a method of splitting a sheath for gastrostoma. The sheath for gastrostoma (1) includes a sheath body (11) in which a gastrostomy catheter (2) is inserted and a handle (12). The sheath for gastrostoma (1) lowers the insertion resistance of a gastrostomy catheter when inserted in a fistula before insertion of the gastrostomy catheter in the fistula for replacement in the patient's body. According to the invention, a sheath for gastrostoma, a sheathed dilator, a sheath for gastrostoma with insertion aid, a gastrostomy catheter kit and a method of splitting a sheath for gastrostoma which can lower the insertion resistance during placement of a catheter in the patient's body, facilitate air supply control of an endoscope and stabilize endoscopic visual field during surgery are provided.
Nasogastric tube
A nasogastric tube (10) including a main lumen (12) having one or more proximal connectors (14) for connecting to a source of substances or pressure, and one or more vacuum lumens (16) peripherally surrounding the main lumen (12), each vacuum lumen (16) including a vacuum sealing portion (24), which includes one or more suction ports (26) for sealingly drawing an inner wall of an esophagus thereagainst.
TRUNCATED FEEDING TUBE
The invention relates to a truncated feeding tube comprising a first tube, a second tube, and a joint element. One terminal of the first tube and the second tube is removably connected to the two terminals of the joint element. A patient can connect the first and second tubes by the joint element or remove the second tube. Since the joint element can be separated from the first and second tubes, the joint member can be simply replaced when it is damaged without replacing the first or second tube. A positioning member is disposed on a front portion of the second tube, so that an endoscopic technology can be used to clamp the positioning member and the inner wall of the stomach or the duodenum by a hemostatic clip, and the front portion of the second tube is positioned in the stomach or the duodenum to avoid sliding displacement.
NASOGASTRIC TUBE
A system comprising a nasogastric tube comprising a feeding mechanism, a suction mechanism configured to sealingly draw an inner wall of an esophagus against said nasogastric tube, and a gastric decompression mechanism.
Photoluminescent coupling
A coupling includes a first input port and a photoluminescent portion associated with the first input port. The first input port may be one or more of a gastric port, a jejunal port, or a balloon port. The first port may have a first glow-in-the dark feature and a second port may have a second glow-in-the-dark feature, which may be different from one another. The coupling may include means for orientation that assists a user in properly orienting a connector to be mounted in the first port in proper orientation and a first connector for coupling to the first port.
Enteral feeding bag and pump support
An enteral feeding bag support system for use in a medical environment to suspend a medical bag above a surface includes a base including a support portion for supporting the support on the support surface, and an attachment portion for removably attaching a medical device to the support. A pole assembly includes a medical bag attachment portion for attaching a medical bag to the pole assembly. The pole assembly is attachable to the base such that when the pole assembly is attached to the base and the base is on the support surface, the pole assembly extends from the base so that the medical bag attachment portion is disposed above the base suspending the medical bag above the support surface.
