Monofilaments Having Abrasion Resistance, Dimensional Stability, Glideability and Soiling Resistance, Textile Fabrics Comprising Same and Use Thereof
Monofilaments comprising particles of polysiloxane from 10 nm to 200 m in diameter in a matrix of thermoplastic polymer are provided. The monofilaments are useful in the manufacture of papermachine clothings in particular and are notable for abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, glideability and soiling resistance.
PRODUCTION METHOD OF NONWOVEN FABRIC
A method for producing a nonwoven fabric is provided. The method includes spinning a molten aromatic polysulfone resin from a nozzle and extending it with a high temperature fluid ejected at high speed, thereby obtaining the aromatic polysulfone resin in a fibrous form, and collecting the aromatic polysulfone resin obtained in a fibrous form on a moving collecting member. The aromatic polysulfone resin has a melt mass flow rate of 130 g/10 min or more under conditions of a test temperature of 400 C. and a nominal load of 2.16 kg, which is determined based on ASTM D 1238. A distance from the nozzle to the collecting member is set to 30 mm or less.
POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE POLYMERS HAVING IMPROVED MELT-STABILITY
Described here are polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) polymers having significantly improved processability. It was surprisingly found that PPS polymers, terminated with specific end-capping agents in specific amounts, had significantly improved melt stability. Because of the significantly improved melt stability, the PPS polymers can be advantageously incorporated into melt processing techniques.
Laminated body and process for producing the same
A laminated body that exhibits heat resistance, chemical resistance, good interfacial adhesion, good varnish-impregnation and also has a three-dimensional formability and results in low variability in the shapes of the products in a forming process and an excellent forming process yield. The laminated body includes a thermoplastic resin sheet layer having a heat of crystallization of 10 J/g or more and a wet-laid nonwoven layer including polyphenylene sulfide fibers and having a heat of crystallization of 10 J/g or more, the wet-laid nonwoven layer being stacked on at least one surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet layer without an adhesive therebetween.
POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE WOVEN FABRIC FOR WATER ELECTROLYSER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A surface of a fiber constituting a polyphenylene sulfide woven fabric contains a hydrophilic group and the oxygen content of the surface of the fiber is 15% by weight or more. The hydrophilic group comprises a carbon-oxygen group and a sulfur-oxygen group, the carbon-oxygen group being at least one of a carboxyl group, a carbonyl group and an aldehyde group. The content of the carbon-oxygen group is 62 to 72% of the total number of the groups in the surface of the fiber, and the content of the sulfur-oxygen group is 6 to 15% of the total number of the groups in the surface of the fiber. The polyphenylene sulfide woven fabric for water electrolysers has good hydrophilicity, high air tightness characteristics, also has characteristics of simple process, energy saving, and low environmental pollution.
Fiber For Artificial Hair And Hair Ornament Product Including Same
The present invention relates to a fiber for artificial hair having a hollow in a center of a fiber cross section. A ratio of an area of the hollow to an entire area of the fiber cross section is 5% to 50%. The fiber cross section has a flat multilobed shape, and the hollow has a first side and a second side that are inclined 70 to 110 degrees relative to a major axis of the fiber cross section. The present invention also relates to hair ornament products including the above fiber for artificial hair. Thus, the present invention provides a fiber for artificial hair having a favorable curl setting property when curling with a hair iron and a favorable combing property after curling with a hair iron, and hair ornament products including the same.
Polyphenylene sulfide fibers, and manufacturing method therefor
A poly(phenylene sulfide) fiber contains 1-10% by weight of a poly(phenylene sulfide) oligomer having a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000 or less, has a difference between a cold crystallization heat quantity (Hc) and a crystal melting heat quantity (Hm) during temperature rising in DSC, HmHc, of 25 J/g or larger, and has an elongation of less than 40% and a strength of 3.0 cN/dtex or higher. The poly(phenylene sulfide) fiber has high heat resistance and chemical resistance and high strength and, despite this, has excellent suitability for high-order processing, e.g., thermal shapability, because the amorphous parts thereof have high molecular movability.
Polyphenylene sulfide monofilament and manufacturing method therefor, and package
A polyphenylene sulfide monofilament is characterized by having a continuous heat-shrinking stress variation of at most 5% and a size uniformity (U %, Normal value) of at most 1.2%; and a drum-shaped fiber package includes the wound polyphenylene sulfide monofilament described. The polyphenylene sulfide monofilament has a very small aperture variation rate and is optimal for high-precision filters.
Polyphenylene sulfide fiber
A poly(phenylene sulfide) fiber changes little in fiber structure and has excellent long-term heat resistance. Namely, the poly(phenylene sulfide) fiber has a degree of crystallization of 45.0% or higher, a content of movable amorphous components of 15.0% or less, and a weight-average molecular weight of 300,000 or less.
