Compacting Device for a Spinning Machine
The invention relates to a compacting device, comprising two suction drums (17), wherein a suction drum (17) in each case is associatable with a pair of delivery rollers (7, 8) of drafting unit (2) of a spinning machine, wherein the pair of delivery rollers (7, 8) is made up of a bottom delivery roller (7) and a top delivery roller (8); wherein the suction drums (17) are rotatably supported, via a bearing, on a shaft that is fastened to a carrier element (41); wherein a suction channel (31) extends within the carrier element (41), and wherein the suction drums (17) each have a drive element (40) which in the operating position forms a drive connection with the bottom delivery roller (7). The invention is characterized in that a protective shield (42) for preventing lap formation is situated on the axle (19) of the clamping rollers (18). The invention further relates to a protective shield (42) and a corresponding textile machine.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A YARN
A method of producing at least one yarn formed by spinning at least two individual fibers, comprising the following steps: providing at least two individual fibers, to be spun to form the at least one yarn to be produced, feeding the at least two provided fibers to a spinning device comprising at least one spindle element or bobbin element via a guide device comprising a plurality of, in particular cylinder-like or cylindrical, guide elements, spinning the fed fibers in the spinning device, forming the at least one yarn to be produced, wherein the at least two fibers are fed to the spinning device via at least two separate, in particular cylinder-like or cylindrical, guide elements that are arranged such that they are spatially separated from one another in at least one spatial direction.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A YARN

Textile machine for the production of roving and method for operating the same
A method for operating a textile machine is provided to produce roving from a fiber bundle with a consolidating means, the roving having a protective twist. The produced roving is wound onto a tube with a winding device. During the winding process, the roving is guided a guide element arranged between the consolidating means and the tube, wherein the guide element exerts a decelerating effect on the roving. The decelerating effect is controlled during operation of the textile machine such that the decelerating effect is lower during a start procedure while the roving leaving the consolidating means is brought into contact with a tube or during a tube change while a wound tube is replaced by an empty tube than during a winding process that takes place between the start procedure and the tube change.
Textile machine for the production of roving and method for operating the same
A method for operating a textile machine is provided to produce roving from a fiber bundle with a consolidating means, the roving having a protective twist. A yarn-forming element is provided for a roving machine that produces a roving from a fiber structure using compressed air. The yarn-forming element includes an intake opening for fibers of the fiber structure, an outlet for emergence of the roving produced from the fiber structure, and a draw-off channel that connects the intake opening and the outlet. A front end surrounding the intake opening is formed as a first truncated cone in at least some sections thereof. The first truncated cone includes a larger base surface and a smaller opposite cover surface that is adjacent the draw-off channel. An angle (a) between a lateral line of the first truncated cone and an axis of the first truncated cone is less than 90 and greater than 70.

A yarn producing apparatus produces CNT (carbon nanotube) yarn from CNT fibers while causing the CNT fibers to run. The yarn producing apparatus includes an aggregating unit that aggregates the CNT fibers, and a twisting and winding device that twists the CNT fibers aggregated by the aggregating unit. The aggregating unit includes an adjusting mechanism that adjusts the aggregation state of the CNT fibers.

A yarn producing apparatus produces CNT (carbon nanotube) yarn from CNT fibers while causing the CNT fibers to run. The yarn producing apparatus includes an aggregating unit that aggregates the CNT fibers, and a twisting and winding device that twists the CNT fibers aggregated by the aggregating unit. Compactor device
A compactor device for compacting a sliver that is drawn by a drafting system of a textile machine is provided. In accordance with the invention, it is envisaged that the compactor device is designed as a channel compactor and has a guide channel, designed in the shape of a screw in the running direction of the sliver, wherein the entry opening of the guide channel is widest horizontally and the exit opening of the guide channel is arranged rotated at least 30? with respect to the entry opening.
