Combined Infant Feeding and Pacifier Retention Device
A combined infant feeding and pacifier retention device is an apparatus used to retain and distribute breastmilk or other fluids. The apparatus is also configured to store a pacifier for selective use. The apparatus comprises a liquid retention chamber, a pacifier retaining mechanism, and a feeding spout. The liquid retention chamber is a contained volume that enables transportation of inserted liquids, particularly milk or breastmilk. The pacifier retaining mechanism is a unit that enables storage of any of a variety of pacifiers. The feeding spout is a unidirectional valve that enables fluid transfer from the liquid retention chamber. The feeding spout is preferably made of any of a variety of soft, bisphenol A-free (BPA-free) materials that effectively operates when utilized as a mouthpiece for an infant. The general configuration of the aforementioned components allows the apparatus to efficiently and effectively store and distribute fluids to users.

The elongated guide member comprises a length sufficient to retain the pacifier guide member within the opening of the pacifier guide retainer and allow the pacifier guide member to slide back and forth in the opening. Infant pacifier with improved retention
An improved infant pacifier includes a nipple configured to trigger an infant's sucking reflex so as to provide a tool for nourishment and also a calming effect for an infant. An extension depends from a distal end of the nipple to a retainer portion that extends proximally from the extension and is spaced from the nipple. The retainer portion terminates in a proximal contact pad. When the nipple is in the child's mouth, the contact pad engages the child's skin under the chin. Preferably a biasing force gently urges the contact pad toward the nipple, maintaining engagement with the child's skin, and helping retain the nipple in the child's mouth even without any effort on the child's part to retain the nipple. Various specific structures of pacifiers employing these principles are provided.
Multi-purpose garment for infants
A swaddling garment or sleep sack for infants has a main body and at least one arm sleeve which can be either removably or non-removably attached to the garment. An infant pacifier is attached, either removably or non-removably, to the remote end of the arm sleeve. A closure element is provided at the remote end of the arm sleeve to close the remote end of the arm sleeve when the pacifier is removed. The arm sleeve is formed from a material and configured such that when it is removed from the garment, can be used as a pillow or blanket for an infant.
