A DEVICE FOR QUICK PREPARATION OF BEVERAGES WITH REGULATED TEMPERATURE
A device for preparing a beverage comprises a bottle, which includes the teat, a container, and a heating chamber. The bottle nests within the heating chamber and the container is connected to the neck of the bottle. At the bottom of the heating chamber is a heating element and an electrical circuit and all required elements for heating a bottle in the heating chamber. The heating chamber provides instant or constant heating of fluid in the bottle. Preparation of the beverage may include detaching the bottle from the heating chamber, opening the container to allow powder to drop into the bottle with the fluid, and shaking the bottle to dissolve the powder in the fluid.
MEDICAL CONTAINER
A medical container is provided comprising a container body that contains a bio-derived frozen product, and a heating unit that heats the bio-derived frozen product contained in the container body. The medical container efficiently heats the bio-derived frozen product. The medical container rapidly melts the bio-derived frozen product contained in the medical container. Additionally, the medical container is hygienic since hot water does not directly contact an outer surface of the medical container.

A system for purifying incoming fluid is modular and includes a heat exchanger module, an evaporator-condenser module and a compressor. The system components are arranged in a stacked configuration to facilitate gravitational flow of the purified fluid such that the purified fluid drains passively for collection. A system for preparation of ready-to-use treatment fluid includes the modular fluid purification system, a preparation station and a coupling device. The components are configured to be retained in a portable carrier that is manually operable for improved access to and mobility of the components. A coupling device can connect the flow channels of several components and can be used in preparing ready-to-use dialysate. A system prepares a receptacle and a ready-to-use treatment fluid in the receptacle.

DRUG DELIVERY STORAGE DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A drug delivery system includes a storage container defining one or more storage compartments and having at least one container sensor coupled thereto, a container condition change mechanism coupled to the storage container for imparting a change on one or more conditions of the one or more storage compartments, at least one drug delivery device adapted to deliver a drug to a user and adapted to be at least partially disposed within one or more of the one or more storage compartments, at least one delivery device sensor, a delivery device condition change mechanism coupled to the drug delivery device, and a controller coupled to the storage container. The storage container may be adapted to hold a number of drug delivery devices within a number of sealable storage compartments. The container sensor is adapted to sense a condition of the storage container, and the delivery device sensor is adapted to sense a condition of the at least one drug delivery device. The controller is adapted to instruct the container condition change mechanism and/or the delivery device change mechanism to impart a change on at least one condition of the storage container and/or the drug delivery device.
Expandable structured dosage form for immediate drug delivery
In this specification, a pharmaceutical dosage form comprising a three-dimensional structural framework of thin, solid elements surrounded by interconnected void space is disclosed. The elements comprise at least a drug, a water-absorptive, polymeric excipient, and a hydrophilic surface composition. Upon immersion in a dissolution fluid the three-dimensional structural framework is wetted uniformly, transitions from solid to viscous due to the diffusion of dissolution fluid into the thin elements, expands in all dimensions, and disintegrates and releases drug. The disclosed dosage form enables greater drug delivery rates and better control of the drug concentration in blood for improving the efficacy and safety of drug therapies.
MEDICAL GEL WARMING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A warming device and system for warming medical gel to a comfortable temperature prior to application to a patient. A warming chamber configured to receive one or more gel containers (e.g., packets or bottles) disposed in a horizontal orientation with a cover sealing the chamber. Multiple protrusions and/or depressions disposed on an inside surface of the chamber can be used to soften thermal conduction of heat to the gel containers and inhibit hot spots. A flexible heating element and an intermediate thermal conducting member can extend up one or more sides of the warming chamber. Multiple buttons can be used to set different gel temperature settings.
