BASE FABRIC, BONDED FABRIC, HIGH PERFORMANCE BELT AND MANUFACTURING PROCESSES THEREOF
A process for manufacturing a bonded fabric for high performance industrial belts is provided. The process includes providing a base fabric made up of warp yarns provided with a predetermined elasticity and weft yarns provided with a lower elasticity than the warp yarns, and subjecting the base fabric to a bonding treatment.
POROUS CARBON SHEET AND PRECURSOR FIBER SHEET THEREOF
A precursor fiber sheet includes short carbon fibers having an average length of 3 to 10 mm, natural pulp having an ash content of 0.15 mass % or less, and a heat-carbonizable resin, and a porous carbon sheet is obtained by carbonizing the precursor fiber sheet. This enhances gas diffusibility and water removal properties of the porous carbon sheet and has high mechanical strength and few appearance defects even when the bulk density of the porous carbon sheet is lowered.
CONDUCTIVE FABRIC AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Provided are a conductive fabric and a manufacturing method thereof. The conductive fabric has a structure in which warp yarns and weft yarns are interwoven with each other, wherein at least one of the warp yarns and the weft yarns includes carbon nanotube fibers, the carbon nanotube fibers contain N-doped carbon nanotubes, the nitrogen content in each of the carbon nanotube fibers is between 1 wt% to 5 wt% based on the total weight of the carbon nanotube fiber, and the content of the N-doped carbon nanotubes in the conductive fabric is at least 0.1 wt% based on the total weight of the conductive fabric.

FIBROUS TEXTURE FOR A CASING MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH HYBRID WARP STRANDS
A fibrous texture has the shape of a strip extending in a longitudinal direction over a determined length between a proximal portion and a distal portion and in a lateral direction over a determined width between a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The fibrous texture has a three-dimensional or multi-layer weaving between a plurality of layers of warp strands extending in the longitudinal direction and a plurality of layers of weft strands extending in the lateral direction, the fibrous texture including first and second longitudinal sections extending over a width from the first or second lateral edge smaller than the determined width of the fibrous texture along the lateral direction. The first and second longitudinal sections each include warp strands and weft strands constituted by carbon fibers. The fibrous texture further includes a third section present between the first and second sections.

Woven article for carbon fiber reinforced plastic and molded product formed therefrom
A woven article for a carbon fiber reinforced plastic according to the present invention is a woven article of a spun yarn containing: about 10 wt % to about 60 wt % of a carbon fiber staple in which the content of carbon components is equal to or greater than about 97 wt %; and about 40 wt % to about 90 wt % of a thermoplastic resin fiber, wherein the carbon fiber staple is obtained by carbonizing carbon fiber reinforced plastic scrap at a temperature of about 900 to about 1400° C. The woven article for a carbon fiber reinforced plastic includes a carbon fiber staple manufactured from scrap generated during manufacture of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic, and allows economic recycling of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic scrap without a reduction in mechanical properties. When molded, productivity is high due to a short cycle time, there is almost no orientation, and an excellent flexural modulus is exhibited.
