CIRCULAR-KNITTED PART AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SAME
A circular-knitted part, with a base knitted material knitted with at least one base knitting yarn, the base material having several rows of stitches which are knitted together when seen in the longitudinal direction of the base knitted material and which extend circumferentially in spiral fashion, wherein, seen in the longitudinal direction of the base knitted material, an additional yarn, which forms stitches, is interknitted between two rows of stitches of the base knitted material, thus connecting the rows of stitches together, to form at lease on additional stitch, wherein the additional stitch is formed by at least one separate additional yarn.
METHOD AND MACHINE FOR KNITTING TUBULAR KNITTED ARTICLES
The method for manufacturing tubular knitted articles (M) comprises the steps of: a) knitting a tubular knitted article (M) with the needle cylinder (3); b) transferring loops (MA) of a last-formed course of loops from the needles (5) of the needle cylinder (3) onto the pick-up members (27A, 27B) of a transfer unit (21), divided into two circular half-rings (25A, 25B, 27A, 27B) which can be overturned over each other; c) overturning one of the circular half-rings (25A, 25B, 27A, 27B) of pick-up members (27B) onto the other so as to arrange two edge portions of the final edge of the tubular knitted article (M) one onto the other; d) joining the two edge portions to one another by means of joining stitches (A, B, C, D) formed in intermediate spaces between adjacent pick-up members (27A), whereon the knitted tubular article (M) is retained; e) unloading the knitted tubular article (M) with the closed toe from the transfer unit (21).
Article of footwear incorporating a knitted component for a heel portion of an upper
An article of footwear may include an upper and a sole structure secured to the upper. The upper has a knitted component formed of unitary knit construction that includes at least one gore region located in a heel region of the article of footwear. The gore region provides a contoured configuration to the knitted component. In a method of manufacturing, a knitted component may include a first gore region and a plurality of second gore regions, with the first gore region being located in a heel area of the article of footwear and the second gore regions being located adjacent to the sole structure.
Footwear and method for knitting footwear
There is provided a footwear having a three-dimensional shape that fits a foot of a wearer regardless of a stretchability of a knitted fabric. A seamless footwear (1) including an instep cover section (3) and a sole cover section (2) is provided. The sole cover section (2) is divided to a heel portion (20) and a sole main body portion (21). A setup portion (1S) or a knitting end portion is formed at a heel side end of the footwear (1), and such setup portion (1S) or the knitting end portion is extended in a height direction of the footwear (1) and also connected to the heel portion (20). The heel portion (20) is formed by a knitting of stacking a stitch row for plural tiers in a wale direction, and gradually differing the number of stitches in a knitting width direction of the stitch row when stacking tiers of the stitch row. The heel portion (20) is formed to a tongue shape in which a width gradually becomes narrower toward a heel side of the footwear (1) according to the change in the number of stitches.
Method for knitting shoe upper
There is provided a method for knitting a shoe upper that can allow the reinforcement degree of the shoe upper to be changed with a small number of yarn feeders. A method for knitting a shoe upper (1) including an instep cover section (3) that covers a portion on an instep side of a wearer and a sole cover section (2) that covers a sole of the wearer is provided. The instep cover section (3) and the sole cover section (2) are three-dimensionally knitted in a seamless manner; and in the knitting process, at least one base section (10) configuring a part of the shoe upper (1) is knitted using a base knitting yarn containing a non-thermal adhesive yarn and a thermal adhesive yarn, and a reinforcement knitting yarn containing a thermal adhesive yarn is interwoven in the base section (10) to reinforce the base section (10). In this case, the number of knitting with the reinforcement knitting yarn with respect to the base section (10) is changed.
KNIT LOWER-BODY GARMENT
Aspects herein are directed to a knit lower-body garment, methods of manufacturing and/or forming the knit lower-body garment using a flat knitting process, and knit blanks used to form the knit lower-body garment. In example aspects, the knit lower-body garment is formed from a one-piece knit textile blank that includes partial-length knit courses in select locations to provide three-dimensional shaping to the resulting lower-body garment.
Flat-knitted material in the form of a pants part comprising the seat
A flat-knitted material in the form of a pants part comprising the seat for a compression pant, consisting of at least one yarn forming the stitches and an interknitted elastic weft yarn, with an upper base knitted section, to which is adjoined a seat section comprising two adjacent 3-dimensionally curved parts, wherein each 3-dimensionally curved part is formed by several knitted gussets, wherein each gusset comprises several rows of stitches, and the gussets of the one 3-dimensionally curved part is knitted with an offset in the transverse direction of the knitted material from the gussets of the other 3-dimensionally curved part.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SHOE UPPER
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a shoe upper, including the steps of: providing at least one stretchable portion on the shoe upper; stretching the at least one stretchable portion of the shoe upper for adapting a size of the shoe upper; and permanently attaching at least one rigid element at least partly on the stretched stretchable portion so that the stretched stretchable portion is locked.
Easy Don and Doff sock
Aspects herein are directed to a sock having an integrally knit tab positioned between a collar of the sock and a heel of the sock, where the collar defines an opening for a wearer's foot. The base of the tab is integrally knit with a reciprocally knit section to reinforce the structural integrity of the tab, which may be used to assist the wearer in donning and/or doffing the sock by acting as the primary structure by which the wearer pulls the sock around the wearer's foot when donning the sock.
Upper-torso garment with tubular-jacquard knit structure
An upper-torso garment includes a tubular-jacquard knit structure within a chest-covering portion. The tubular-jacquard knit structure includes interlocked courses formed by each front-stitch course intermittently interlocking with a back-stitch course. The tubular-jacquard knit structure is divided into a plurality of zones across the chest-covering portion, and the zones may include different versions of the tubular-jacquard knit structure based on how front-stitch courses interlock with back-stitch courses.
