WORK GLOVE

A glove includes a body portion defining a space to receive a body portion of a hand, and a plurality of digit portions extending from the body portion, including a set of finger portions and a thumb portion, wherein each digit portion defines an elongated digit receiving space. A first finger portion of the set of finger portions includes a knitted back side segment, a grip side segment and a first knitted fourchette segment extending from the knitted back side segment to the grip side segment. The first knitted fourchette segment and the knitted back side segment are of a continuous knit. The first knitted fourchette segment has a thickness that is less than a thickness of the knitted back side segment.

Highly functional polyethylene fiber, and dyed highly functional polyethylene fiber

The present invention provides a highly functional polyethylene fiber exhibiting reduction of change in their physical properties in a wide range of temperatures for processing for products and in a wide range of temperatures for usage as products, thereby enabling improvement of dimensional stability. In addition, the present invention provides a highly functional polyethylene fiber exhibiting a high degree of dye exhaustion to be obtained in a simple dyeing operation, and excellent color fastness. The highly functional polyethylene fiber of the present invention is characterized in that an intrinsic viscosity [η] is higher than or equal to 0.8 dL/g, and not higher than 4.9 dL/g, ethylene is substantially contained as a repeating unit thereof, and a maximum thermal shrinkage stress is less than or equal to 0.4 cN/dtex in TMA (thermo-mechanical analysis), and a thermal shrinking percentage at 100° C. is less than or equal to 2.5%.

PROTECTIVE GLOVE WITH ENHANCED EXTERIOR SECTIONS

A protective glove includes a primary yarn that forms the palm, thumb and finger sections of the glove. The primary yarn has an interior surface forming the interior surface of the glove, and an exterior surface forming the exterior surface of the glove. A plaiting yarn can be plaited to portions of the exterior surface of the primary yarn to form a plurality of enhanced sections on the exterior surface of the glove. The enhanced sections can have at least one substantially enhanced physical characteristic in relation to the primary layer.
