Sheet manufacturing apparatus and control method of sheet manufacturing apparatus
A sheet manufacturing apparatus is an apparatus that heats a material containing fibers to form a sheet, and includes a heating portion that heats the material, and a control portion that controls a temperature at which the heating portion heats the material. The control portion sets a temperature of the heating portion to a first temperature in a first state where the sheet manufacturing apparatus manufactures the sheet, and sets the temperature of the heating portion to a second temperature lower than the first temperature at a predetermined timing in a second state where the sheet is not manufactured, or at a predetermined timing when a state of the sheet manufacturing apparatus is shifted to the state where the sheet is not manufactured.
Yarn manufactured from recycled clothing fibers and process for making same
Yarn manufactured from recycled mixed clothing fibers and a process of making yarn manufactured from recycled mixed clothing fibers. Upcycled yarn has approximately 70%-95% of fiber from separated used clothes fibers, whereby separated used clothes fibers have cotton, polyester, nylon, silk, rayon, spandex, synthetic fibers, wool, hemp, carbon fibers, and/or linen. The upcycled yarn also has approximately 5%-30% other fibers that can be recycled fibers and/or virgin fibers, whereby the recycled fiber is recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles and other sources, recycled cotton, recycled nylon from fishing nets and other sources, and the virgin fiber is nylon, spandex, virgin polyester, hemp, carbon fiber, and/or organic cotton.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A PANEL
A method of manufacturing a panel includes obtaining a textile scrap, the textile scrap consisting essentially of polyester, mechanically separating the textile scrap into a plurality of textile yarns, where each of the plurality of textile yarns has a first melting point that is greater than a first temperature, and obtaining a plurality of staple fibers, where the plurality of staple fibers includes bicomponent fibers each having a melting point that is less than the first temperature. The method further includes blending the plurality of textile yarns with the plurality of staple fibers to form a mixed blend of textile yarns and staple fibers, and heating and compressing the mixed blend to form the panel.

Reuse of used woven or knitted textile
The invention pertains to a method of manufacturing a product from used woven or knitted textile comprising vegetable or animal fibres, in particular cotton or wool, the method comprising the steps of: collecting the used woven or knitted textile, granulating the used woven or knitted textile into fibres having an average fiber length of between 3.6 mm and 5.5 mm, mixing the granulated used woven or knitted textile with a thermoplastic fiber based binder, and forming a nonwoven mat from the mixture of the granulated used woven or knitted textile and fiber based binder, the nonwoven mat comprising 59% to 75% of vegetable fiber, or alternatively the nonwoven mat comprising at least 80% animal fibres. The invention also pertains to a product produced by said method.

Web forming device and sheet manufacturing apparatus
A housing portion includes first and second inclined surfaces facing each other and inclined such that a distance between the first and second inclined surfaces decreases downward in a vertical direction. A third inclined surface located between the first and second inclined surfaces, facing the first inclined surface, inclined such that a distance between the third and first inclined surfaces decreases downward in the vertical direction, and having a first gap with respect to the first inclined surface is provided. A fourth inclined surface located between the first and second inclined surfaces, facing the second inclined surface, inclined such that a distance between the fourth and second inclined surfaces decreases downward in the vertical direction, and having a second gap with respect to the second inclined surface is provided. A suction blower causes a mixture to pass through the first and second gaps, and collects the mixture.
Defibrated material manufacturing device, and sheet manufacturing apparatus
A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a defibrator configured to produce defibrated material, a feedstock supply unit, a monitoring device, and a cleaning device. The feedstock supply unit includes a conveyance device configured to convey feedstock, a storage device configured to accumulate the feedstock conveyed from the conveyance device and supply the feedstock to the defibrator, and a measuring device configured to measure a state of the feedstock accumulated on the storage device. The monitoring device is configured to predict stopping of conveyance of the feedstock by the feedstock supply unit and activate the cleaning device when a conveyance speed of the feedstock by the feedstock supply unit becomes slower than during normal operation. The cleaning device is configured to execute on at least one of the conveyance device and the storage device a cleaning process that preemptively prevents the stopping of conveyance.
