RECYCLABLE, ASYMMETRICAL-FACED COMPOSITE NONWOVEN TEXTILE
Aspects herein are directed to a recyclable, asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile suitable for use in apparel and other articles and methods of making the same. In example aspects, the asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile includes a first face formed, at least in part from a first entangled web of fibers and an opposite second face formed, at least in part from a second entangled web of fibers. When incorporated into an article of apparel, the first face forms an outer-facing surface of the article of apparel, and the second face forms an inner-facing surface of the article of apparel. The first face includes features making it suitable to form the outer-facing surface such as resistance to abrasion, and the second face includes features making it suitable to form an inner-facing surface such as a soft hand.
Apparatus having forming members with surface texture for making nonwoven material having discrete three-dimensional deformations with wide base openings
An apparatus for forming deformations in a nonwoven web is disclosed. The apparatus includes a pair of forming members that form a nip therebetween. The forming members include: a first forming member having a surface comprising a plurality of discrete, spaced apart male forming elements; and a second forming member having a surface comprising a plurality of recesses in the second forming member, wherein the recesses are aligned and configured to receive the male forming elements therein, wherein the recesses have a plan view periphery that is larger than, and may completely surround, the plan view periphery of the male elements. At least one of the forming members has a plurality of discrete surface texture elements thereon.

LOOPED LAYER OR STRIP INCLUDING DIFFERENTIAL ATTACHMENT AREAS AND NAPPY COMPRISING SUCH A LAYER
The invention relates to a looped layer in the form of a laminate including an inner supporting element (1), for example a non-woven fabric or a plastic film, and a plurality of fibres and/or filaments (3) attached to the outer surface of the supporting element so as to form loops for engaging with hooks, the attachment being carried out in a attachment region, while in at least one other so-called looped region the filaments and/or fibres are not attached to the supporting element so as to form loops, characterised in that at least in one area (5) of at least one attachment region the attachment is only carried out in a partial manner, while at least in one other area (4) of at least one attachment region the attachment is carried out in a complete manner.

Insulating floor underlayment
A flooring material having a textile pad substructure with a density of greater than 10 pounds per cubic foot is provided. The textile pad has reinforcement and binding fibers. The binding fibers are thermoplastic and are used to bind the reinforcement fibers together. The pad is created by heating and compressing a fibrous textile batt so that it has a density of greater than 13 pounds per cubic foot.

COMPOSITE AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Described is a composite made from a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, or a knitted face fabric and a non-woven fabric. The woven fabric, the non-woven fabric, or the knitted face fabric is needle punched such that fibers protrude into the non-woven fabric. The woven fabric, the non-woven fabric, or the knitted face fabric has a first polymer having a first melting point and a second polymer having a second melting point being higher than the first melting point. The nonwoven backing material comprises a third polymer having a third melting point and a fourth polymer having a fourth melting point being higher than the third melting point. The woven fabric, the non-woven fabric, or the knitted face fabric is further bonded to the nonwoven backing material applying heat to at least partially melt or soften the first polymer and the third polymer such that they bond together.
