Recyclable, asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile
Aspects herein are directed to a recyclable, asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile suitable for use in apparel and other articles and methods of making the same. In example aspects, the asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile includes a first face formed, at least in part from a first entangled web of fibers and an opposite second face formed, at least in part from a second entangled web of fibers. When incorporated into an article of apparel, the first face forms an outer-facing surface of the article of apparel, and the second face forms an inner-facing surface of the article of apparel. The first face includes features making it suitable to form the outer-facing surface such as resistance to abrasion, and the second face includes features making it suitable to form an inner-facing surface such as a soft hand.
FILTER MEDIA, TRIBOELECTRICALLY CHARGED FIBERS THEREOF, AND METHODS FOR THE SAME
Filter media, filters and methods for preparing filter media are provided herein. The filter media may include a nonwoven sheet having continuous fibers prepared from first and second dissimilar polymers that are triboelectrically charged. The nonwoven sheet may be prepared by needling and/or hydroentangling the continuous fibers. Needling and/or hydroentangling the continuous fibers triboelectrically charges at least a portion of the continuous fibers of the nonwoven sheet. In addition, needling and/or hydroentangling the fibers increases the loftiness of the nonwoven sheet, thereby reducing its resistance to airflow and increasing its dust holding capacity.

FABRIC
A graphene-infused fabric is provided as a sound reducing acoustic layer for object such as a pickleball paddle. The graphene-infused fabric is made from polymer fibers, at least one of which is a graphene-infused polymer fiber. Graphene is blended into a polymer material, and fibers are manufactured from said material such as by extrusion. The graphene-infused polymer is combined with other fibers to be made into a woven or non-woven fabric.
