The invention relates to a polymerisable dental composite material comprising (i) 40 to 90% by weight of an inorganic filler component comprising at least one dental glass, as well as optionally at least one an amorphous metal oxide, (ii) 10 to 60% by weight of at least one urethane (alkyl) acrylate of the idealised formula I, (iii) 0.01 to 15% by weight of at least one di-, tri-, tetra- or multi-functional monomer not being a urethane (alkyl) acrylate, (iv) 0.01 to 10% by weight of at least one initiator, of an initiator system, as well as optionally of at least one stabiliser, and optionally of at least one pigment, the total composition of the composite material amounting to 100% by weight, as well as to a polymerised composite material for producing direct dental restorations or indirect dental restorations.

DENTAL MATERIAL FOR THE PREPARATION OF FULL OR PARTIAL DENTAL PROSTHESES
A radically polymerizable material for the preparation of dental prostheses, containing (a) at least one monofunctional radically polymerizable (meth)acrylate, (b) at least one polyfunctional radically polymerizable (meth)acrylate, (c) at least one ABA triblock copolymer, (d) at least one nanoparticulate or microfine filler having an average primary particle size of from 10 nm to 350 nm, and (e) at least one photoinitiator. The A block of the ABA triblock copolymer is an oligomeric polyester and the B block is an oligomeric polysiloxane.
DENTAL MATERIAL FOR THE PREPARATION OF FULL OR PARTIAL DENTAL PROSTHESES
A radically polymerizable material for the preparation of dental prostheses, containing (a) at least one monofunctional radically polymerizable (meth)acrylate, (b) at least one polyfunctional radically polymerizable (meth)acrylate, (c) at least one ABA triblock copolymer, (d) at least one nanoparticulate or microfine filler having an average primary particle size of from 10 nm to 350 nm, and (e) at least one photoinitiator. The A block of the ABA triblock copolymer is an oligomeric polyester and the B block is an oligomeric polysiloxane.
METHODS AND KITS FOR REMOVING CALCULUS USING A METAL ION AND BICARBONATE
Methods and kits for removing calculus from a tooth, wherein the method can include applying a component A to the tooth, wherein component A comprises: a metal ion selected from the group of lithium ion, magnesium ion, calcium ion, a precursor thereto, and a combination thereof; and an aprotic base having a pKb in water of greater than 15.4, or a precursor thereto; applying a component B to the tooth, wherein component B comprises a bicarbonate ion or a precursor thereto; wherein components A and B are applied simultaneously or sequentially to the tooth, thereby generating a gas to soften and/or loosen at least part of the calculus on the tooth; and removing at least a part of the calculus from the tooth.
