Low melting point glass composition excellent in water resistance
To provide a glass composition which can be used for a dental porcelain or a dental ceramics coloring material, and has low temperature meltability, acid resistance and preservation stability under the humid environment which are required for a dental porcelain or a dental ceramics coloring material, and a dental porcelain and dental ceramics coloring material which contain the glass composition of the present disclosure. To provide a low melting glass composition with softening point (Ts) less than 600° C. comprising as a component; SiO.sub.2: 55.0 to 75.0 wt. %, B.sub.2O.sub.3: 6.1 to 12.0 wt. %, Al.sub.2O.sub.3: 2.0 to 8.0 wt. %, ZnO: 2.0 to 8.5 wt. % and two or more kinds of alkali metal oxide: 10.5 to 20.0 wt. %.
MONOLITHIC SUPPORT STRUCTURES FOR USE IN IMPLANT-SUPPORTED DENTAL DEVICES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A dental device is described that comprises a monolithic support structure for use in implant-supported dental restoration applications for partially or fully edentulous patients. The monolithic support structure comprises a unitary support body with one or more teeth projections projecting from the support body, and at least one support region providing a framework for integrating discrete artificial teeth adjacent the teeth projections. An implant-supported dental device is also provided that comprises the monolithic support structure, one or more artificial teeth, and a gingival region comprised of a formable material that secures artificial teeth within the framework of the monolithic support structure.
Dental material container
A dental material container includes a cylindrical body that stores a dental material including a pair of opposing primary surfaces, and a rotatable cap covering the body. The cap includes an internal space capable of housing the dental material. The body includes a pair of first holders that are formed on an inner surface of the body to movably hold the primary surfaces of the dental material; the cap includes a pair of second holders formed inside of the cap to movably hold the primary surfaces of the dental material. When the cap is rotated in the circumferential direction relative to the body, a continuous space where the dental material is movable is formed by the first and second holders, the dental material located closest to the opening in the body moves into the cap, and the dental material moved into the cap is housed in the cap.
