A method of operating a washing machine appliance includes filling a wash tub with a wash liquid during a first cycle. The method also includes receiving a pause input after filling the wash tub and before draining the wash tub during the first cycle. In response to the pause input, the first cycle is paused for a pause duration. The method further includes incrementing a pause counter in response to the pause input and storing the pause duration after pausing the first cycle. The method also includes filling the wash tub with a wash liquid during a second cycle after the first cycle and automatically pausing the second cycle after filling the wash tub with the wash liquid during the second cycle, based on the pause counter and the stored pause duration.

A method of operating a washing machine appliance includes filling a wash tub with a wash liquid during a first cycle. The method also includes receiving a pause input after filling the wash tub and before draining the wash tub during the first cycle. In response to the pause input, the first cycle is paused for a pause duration. The method further includes incrementing a pause counter in response to the pause input and storing the pause duration after pausing the first cycle. A method of operating a laundry treating appliance with a combination washer/dryer having a cabinet defining an interior, a tub located within the interior, and a rotatable drum located within the tub interior and defining a treating chamber, and an air recirculation conduit, the method comprising supplying water to the treating chamber, rotating the drum, and draining the water from the laundry treating appliance.

Methods may further include and/or appliances may be configured for, obtaining one or more images of the inlet of the fluid circulation system during the fill step using a camera mounted within the cabinet. The camera is positioned and oriented with the inlet within a field of vision of the camera. Based on the one or more images, a determination is made whether a water pressure provided to the fluid circulation system is above a predetermined minimum water pressure.

Washing machine appliances and methods of operating the same are provided. The method comprising determining whether a previous cycle performed by the combination washer/dryer was a dry cycle, determining whether a single dose dispenser is selected for the current cycle, supplying to the tub a charge of water sufficient to at least partially immerse the drum while not immersing the lint filter, and rotating the drum for a predetermined period of time if the controller determines the previous cycle was a dry cycle and the single dose dispenser is not selected.

A method of cleaning a lint filter in a combination washer/dryer having a tub, a controller, a drum rotatably mounted within the tub, an air conduit having a port fluidly connected to the tub, and a lint filter fluidly coupled to the port. The method comprising determining whether a previous cycle performed by the combination washer/dryer was a dry cycle, determining whether a single dose dispenser is selected for the current cycle, supplying to the tub a charge of water sufficient to at least partially immerse the drum while not immersing the lint filter, and rotating the drum for a predetermined period of time if the controller determines the previous cycle was a dry cycle and the single dose dispenser is not selected.
