TOOTH WHITENING METHOD
The present invention relates to a method for whitening teeth. The method for whitening teeth according to the present invention can promote the whitening activity of a tooth whitening agent and increase the degree of permeation of the whitening agent into the teeth, thereby obtaining an excellent whitening effect. Therefore, an excellent whitening effect can be obtained despite the use of low-concentration peroxide, compared with the use of high-concentration peroxide.
Oral Care Compositions and Methods of Using the Compositions
An oral care composition comprising zinc phosphate and stannous fluoride.
Deuterium-enriched hyaluronan
The present invention generally relates to deuterium-enriched hyaluronan, d-HA, compositions containing the same, methods of using the same, and methods for making the same. ##STR00001##
METHODS FOR FIXING HAIR AND SKIN
Compositions, kits, and methods for repairing bonds, for example, disulfide bonds, in hair or on the skin are disclosed. The compositions provide improved conditioning benefit for dry hair or moisturize the skin. The compositions also provide a long lasting moisturized feel and smooth feel to the skin or hair, without feeling greasy. The compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently bind at least two thiol groups in the hair or on the skin. Use of the binding compositions prevents reversion of the repaired bonds to their free thiol state, for at least one week or one month, or more, after a single application of the composition. Improved methods of styling hair, for example permanent hair waving, hair curling, hair coloring or highlighting, and hair straightening, are also provided.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING CELLODEXTRINS
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a cellodextrin component comprising a cellosaccharide selected from the group consisting of cellobiose, cellotriose, cellotetraose, cellopentaose, cellohexaose, celloheptaose, cellooctaose, cellononaose, cellodecaose, celloundecaose, cellododecaose, and combinations thereof; and (i) a lipoid component comprising one or more natural or synthetic lipoids; and/or (ii) a surfactant component comprising an anionic surfactant, cationic surfactant, amphoteric surfactant, nonionic surfactant; and/or (iii) a thickening component; and/or (iv) a pigment component; or any combination thereof; wherein at least a portion of said cellodextrin component is present within the cosmetic composition in undissolved form.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MULTI-COLUMN MULTI-MEDICINE ORAL DISSOLVING FILM
In an apparatus and method of manufacturing a multi-column multi-medicine oral dissolving film according to the present invention, all processes from film feeding, medicine coating, and medicine drying to product packaging are implemented as continuous automation processes, and under the automation processes, different kinds of medicines are coated on a base film in multiple columns in a signal layer by using a plurality of nozzles supplied with the different kinds of medicines, so that it is possible to improve productivity through the automation processes, to ensure product quality due to efficiency during drying caused by maintaining the thickness of the product, and to provide a convenience in the case of taking various kinds of small-amount medicines at one time or in the case of separately and selectively taking different kinds of medicines.
Oral delivery system
The present invention provides a delivery system for the treatment and/or prevention of infectious pathological changes, including compositions comprising polyhexanide, various pharmaceutical formulations, and processes for using these formulations in oral treatment modalities.
Oral care compositions and methods for the same
Film forming compositions and methods for preventing stains and increasing shine and gloss of teeth. The film forming compositions may include a polymer, such as a hydrophobic polymer, and an orally acceptable solvent. The hydrophobic polymer may include an acrylate component and a hydrophobic group coupled with one another. The hydrophobic group may include an alkyl chain, a polyethylene glycol, a polypropylene, a polyester, a polyorthoester, a phospholipid, a long chain fatty acid, a vinyl chloride, fluorethylene, a siloxane, a urethane, an octylacrylamide, a butylaminoethyl, a styrene, and combinations thereof.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR COLORING KERATINIC FIBERS
Cosmetic compositions and methods for changing the color of keratinic fibers are provided herein. In an embodiment, a cosmetic composition for lightening the color of keratinic fibers includes at least two separately packaged formulations (A) and (B), which are mixed immediately prior to application to give an application mixture. The formulation (A) includes at least one dye chosen from the group of oxidation dye precursors, direct dyes, or a combination thereof. The composition (B) is a flowable composition including water and at least one oxidizing agent. Formulation (A) has been packaged in a water-soluble film including, based on its total weight, at least about 60% by weight of a polymer mixture having a multimodal molecular weight distribution.
Oxidation dyeing process using a substrate bearing at least one oxidation dye, several preservatives and an oxidizing aqueous composition
Oxidation dyeing process using a substrate bearing at least one oxidation dye, several preservatives and an oxidizing aqueous composition The present invention relates to a process for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising a step of application, to said keratin fibres, i) of a substrate comprising on its surface one or more oxidation dyes, one or more thiolated reducing agents and one or more organic reducing agents of reductone type, and a step of application, to said keratin fibres, ii) of an oxidizing aqueous composition comprising one or more oxidizing agents. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing said substrate. The invention also relates to an element in sheet form, pretreated by a composition comprising one or more oxidation dyes, one or more thiolated reducing agents, and one or more organic reducing agents of reductone type.
