Laundry treating appliance having a user interface and methods of operating same
A laundry treating appliance includes a treating chamber provided for receiving laundry for treatment, a controller having a memory in which is stored a set of executable instructions including a set of cycles of operations. The laundry treating appliance also includes a user interface operably coupled with the controller and having a touchscreen configured to provide an input and output function for the controller.
Mobile firefighter gear cleaner
A mobile vehicle that is self-contained and equipped to wash firefighter gear at the firefighter's station. The vehicle would be on a dispatched network and be activated after an incident, and for scheduled cleanings on a regular basis; the vehicle having the required equipment to clean all contaminated gear by use of a sonic cleaner, extractors, and dryers. The process includes monitoring the life of the gear and decontaminating the gear in accordance with the gear manufacturer's recommendations. Gear that has been cleaned is reassembled, wrapped, sealed and placed back into a fireman's station, giving the firefighter the assurance that their firefighting gear was cleaned, sanitized, and serviced per the manufacturer's recommendations.

RETROFITTABLE SENSOR UNIT FOR CONTROLLING A DOSING DEVICE
A retrofittable sensor unit for controlling a dosing device of a cleaning machine includes an acquisition module having at least one sensor for capturing measurement variables, at least one monitoring unit for determining a current degree of soiling of articles for cleaning on the basis of the captured measurement variables, a communication unit configured to communicate with at least one dosing device, in particular to transmit a dosing command to at least one dosing device depending on the current degree of soiling of the articles for cleaning. The retrofittable sensor unit can be arranged separately from the dosing device.
DISPENSING TREATING CHEMISTRY IN A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
An appliance and method of operating a laundry treating appliance having a treating chamber for receiving laundry for treatment and a dispensing system having a dispensing pump for dispensing a treating chemistry for use in treating the laundry, the method comprising determining a soil level of laundry in the treating chamber and determining a dispensing parameter based on the determined soil level.
Laundry treating appliance for drying laundry
A method of operating a laundry treating appliance with a combination washer/dryer having a cabinet defining an interior, a tub located within the interior, and a rotatable drum located within the tub interior and defining a treating chamber, and an air recirculation conduit, the method comprising supplying water to the treating chamber, rotating the drum, and draining the water from the laundry treating appliance.

Washing machine
A washing machine includes a tub containing water, a drum rotatably provided in the tub to accommodate laundry, and a detergent mixing device configured to mix additives supplied into the tub. The detergent mixing device includes a pair of additive cartridges containing a liquid additive and a peristaltic pump configured to selectively supply the additive discharged from the pair of additive cartridges to the tub. The peristaltic pump includes a first path switching motor, a first tub, a second tube, a first rotor and a second rotor rotated by the flow path switching motor, a first rotary bearing permitting a rotation of the first rotor in a first direction and restricting a rotation of the first rotor in a second direction, and a second rotary bearing permitting a rotation of the second rotor in the second direction and restricting a rotation of the second rotor in the first direction.
WASHING MACHINE SENSING TURBIDITY AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
A washing machine is disclosed. The washing machine includes: a driving unit configured to rotate a washing tub; a turbidity sensor configured to sense a turbidity of water inside the washing tub; and one or more processors configured to: identify a weight of laundry contained in the washing tub when a user instruction for operating the washing machine is received; identify a saving mode as an operation mode based on a number of minor contaminations identified being equal to or greater than a predetermined number based on a contamination level identification history; identify a normal mode as the operation mode based on the number of minor contaminations identified being smaller than the predetermined number; initiate a washing process based on the weight in the identified operation mode; identify a level of contamination inside the washing tub based on the turbidity of water sensed by the turbidity sensor when a predetermined time elapses after the washing process is initiated; and identify whether to terminate the washing process based on the identified level of contamination.
