A composition applied on a substrate comprised by, or forming, or used for manufacturing of, a disposable absorbent article may be used for reducing the adherence of feces or menses to the human skin. The composition deposited on the substrate does not affect negatively the manufacturing process of the disposable absorbent article and imparts desirable fluid handling properties to the substrate. The composition may also be desirably deposited on a substrate used as, or in a wipe.

The invention provides novel liquid compositions comprising acryloyldimethyltaurate salt/VP copolymer, as well as wet wipe products including such compositions.

The invention relates to a malodor counteractancy or counteracting (MOC) method that resorts to the use of specific malodor counteracting (MOC) mixtures of fragrance ingredients. More particularly, the invention relates to new MOC compositions capable of neutralizing or masking in an efficient manner malodors of a large variety of such as body or as malodors, kitchen malodors, toilet and bathroom malodors, and tobacco malodor. The novel MOC compositions of the invention contain at least one nitrite material in combination with another fragrance material and can be used in any finished consumer products such as air fresheners, kitchen or toilet/bathroom cleaning or freshening products, textile treatment products and products for application on the human skin or hair, or on animal fur, litter containers or cages.

The present invention provides a cosmetic composition carrier comprising a latex foam having a density of 0.05-0.2 g/cm.sup.3 and a cosmetic product comprising same. Provided is a composition for preventing hair loss or promoting hair development, comprising, as an active ingredient, irone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. More specifically, provided is a pharmaceutical composition, a quasi-drug composition, a cosmetic composition, or a health functional food composition, for preventing hair loss, treating hair loss, promoting hair development, or promoting hair growth, the composition comprising irone or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. The composition not only contains, as an active ingredient, a natural compound having no adverse effects even when administered for a long period of time with respect to hair loss, a chronic disease, but also exhibits excellent and stable efficacy in hair development and hair growth, which allows the composition to be usefully used as an agent for preventing or treating hair loss, or a pharmaceutical, quasi-drug, cosmetic, or health functional food composition for promoting hair development or hair growth.

A lotion composition is provided. The lotion composition can comprise a) about 0.1% to about 90%, by weight, of a microcrystalline wax; b) about 0.1% to about 25%, by weight, of POE-4 monolaurate; c) about 0.1% to about 50%, by weight, of POE-8 monostearate; and d) a carrier.
