A drum washing machine and a control method for opening a door of the drum washing machine during running are provided. The control method comprises the following steps: S1, receiving a door opening instruction sent by a user; S2, judging whether a water level at a front end of a drum assembly of the drum washing machine satisfies a condition of opening the door, if yes, entering step S4, if no, entering step S3; S3, tilting the drum assembly with a tilting mechanism, and then returning to step S2; and S4, unlocking a door lock. Through a manner of lifting a front end of the drum assembly, the operation of opening the door during running is realized. In this way, the original parts of the washing machine do not need to be changed.

The present application proposes a laundry treating apparatus comprising: a cabinet; a drawer; a drum; a laundry inlet; a housing; a lever body; a body pressing portion; a magnetic field generator; a magnetic field sensor; a contact body; a slide wherein when an object contacts the contact body, the slide moves the free end of the lever body so that a distance between the magnetic field generator and the magnetic field sensor is equal to or smaller than a reference distance; and a door pivotably mounted on the top face of the drawer or a top face of the tub, wherein when the door pivots in a direction of opening the laundry inlet while the drawer is inserted into the cabinet, the door presses the body pressing portion such that a distance between the magnetic field generator and the magnetic field sensor is larger than the reference distance.

The present application proposes a laundry treating apparatus comprising: a cabinet; a drawer; a drum; a laundry inlet; a housing; a lever body; a body pressing portion; a magnetic field generator; a magnetic field sensor; a contact body; a slide wherein when an object contacts the contact body, the slide moves the free end of the lever body so that a distance between the magnetic field generator and the magnetic field sensor is equal to or smaller than a reference distance; and a door pivotably mounted on the top face of the drawer or a top face of the tub, wherein when the door pivots in a direction of opening the laundry inlet while the drawer is inserted into the cabinet, the door presses the body pressing portion such that a distance between the magnetic field generator and the magnetic field sensor is larger than the reference distance.

A vertical axis washing machine appliance having a transmission assembly with a planetary helical gear train is provided. The transmission assembly transmits mechanical power from a torque source to an agitation element so that oscillatory motion may be imparted to laundry articles within a wash basket of the washing machine appliance, e.g., during a wash cycle. The transmission assembly includes features that manage axial thrust loads created by helical gears of the gear train. The transmission assembly also includes features that prevent shuttling of the gears and other components of the transmission assembly.

A vertical axis washing machine appliance having a transmission assembly with a planetary helical gear train is provided. The transmission assembly transmits mechanical power from a torque source to an agitation element so that oscillatory motion may be imparted to laundry articles within a wash basket of the washing machine appliance, e.g., during a wash cycle. The transmission assembly includes features that manage axial thrust loads created by helical gears of the gear train. The transmission assembly also includes features that prevent shuttling of the gears and other components of the transmission assembly.

A washing machine is disclosed. The disclosed washing machine includes a housing, a tub disposed inside the housing and including a laundry loading port, and a door configured to open and close the laundry loading port, wherein the door includes a water collecting space provided to collect water flowing along one surface of the door when the laundry loading port is opened, and a water collecting cover portion provided to cover at least a portion of the water collecting space.

A track mechanism and a front-loading washing machine are provided. The track mechanism includes a base, the base is provided with a track portion configured to guide a movable body to move along the track portion, the base includes a supporting body and a track body, the track portion is arranged on the track body, the supporting body and the track body are stacked and combined relative to each other, and wear resistance of the track body is higher than that of the supporting body.

A track mechanism and a front-loading washing machine are provided. The track mechanism includes a base, the base is provided with a track portion configured to guide a movable body to move along the track portion, the base includes a supporting body and a track body, the track portion is arranged on the track body, the supporting body and the track body are stacked and combined relative to each other, and wear resistance of the track body is higher than that of the supporting body.

A laundry treating apparatus comprises: a cabinet having a top face for supporting an object thereon and a front face having a front opening communicating an interior of the cabinet with an outside; a drawer extendable from the cabinet through the front opening; a tub disposed inside the drawer and having a water storage space; a drum rotatably disposed in the tub to receive laundry; a laundry inlet in a top face of the tub to receive laundry; a lever having a fixed end pivotably coupled to the cabinet and a free end positioned between a top face of the cabinet and a top face of the drawer; a magnetic field generator fixed to one of the free end of the lever and the drawer; and a magnetic field sensor disposed on the other of the free end of the lever and the drawer.
