WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided is a washing machine and a method of controlling the same, the washing machine including: a tub provided to accommodate water therein; a rotating tub rotatably installed inside the tub; a ball balancer provided in the rotating tub; a washing motor configured to rotate the rotating tub; a drain motor configured to drain water from the tub; and a controller configured to; based on completing a washing cycle or a rinsing cycle, drive the drain motor; based on a water level in the tub reaching a first water level threshold, drive the washing motor for a first period of time; and based on the first period of time elapsing, stop the washing motor and the drain motor.
WASHING MACHINE
The present disclosure discloses a washing machine, including a washing drum, being a water containing tub during washing; a balancing ring, arranged on the washing drum; and a sealing structure, configured to prevent water from overflowing between the washing drum and the balancing ring. According to the washing machine, capacity of the washing drum can be expanded; and meanwhile, since the sealing structure is arranged between the washing drum and the balancing ring, water is prevented from overflowing out of the washing drum between the washing drum and the balancing ring, so as not to corrode a washing machine case or other components due to splashing as time goes, or not to cause short circuit.
Cloth-treating apparatus
The present invention relates to a cloth-treating apparatus comprising: a cabinet which forms an exterior; a tub, provided inside the cabinet, for accommodating wash water; a drum which is rotatably provided inside the tub; and an auxiliary vessel which is detachably provided inside the drum and in which washing of laundry is conducted separately from the drum, wherein the auxiliary vessel comprises a discharge part for discharging, to the upper portion, wash water accommodated in the auxiliary vessel by means of centrifugal force due to rotation.
Washing machine
In the washing machine according to the present disclosure, the reinforcing member for reinforcing the strength of the balancer housing of the ball balancer is disposed on the outer surface of the balancer housing and includes a plurality of ribs. When the reinforcing member and the balancer housing are injected, a plurality of bumps may be formed inside the balancer housing by the plurality of ribs to affect the rolling of the ball. To prevent this, the reinforcing member is disposed in the area of the outer surface of the balancer housing corresponding to the non-contact surface on which the ball does not contact.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE HAVING A LIQUID DISTRIBUTION ASSEMBLY
A laundry treating appliance is disclosed. The laundry treating appliance includes a tub having a tub side wall and a tub end wall defining a liquid chamber with a tub end opening. A tub manifold portion is positioned at the tub end wall. A rotatable drum is located within the liquid chamber, rotatable about a rotational axis, and has a drum side wall and a drum end wall at least partially defining a treating chamber with a drum end opening. A drum manifold portion is positioned at the drum end wall and confronts the tub manifold portion. At least one lifter is secured to the drum, and a liquid conduit fluidly couples the drum manifold portion to the at least one lifter.
WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine is provided. The washing machine includes a water tub configured to be disposed in a cabinet and to store wash water, a rotating tub configured to be rotatably installed in the water tub and to include an opening formed in an upper end portion thereof, and a driver configured to be connected to the rotating tub and to rotate the rotating tub, wherein a deviation preventer configured to prevent wash water in the rotating tub from being deviated to one side during rotation of the rotating tub is formed at an upper end portion of the rotating tub.
Liquid damper system
A liquid damper system for restraining vibrations generated in a rotating body includes: a liquid damper which is coaxially rotatable with the rotating body and includes a collision member, the collision member being provided in a casing in which liquid is enclosed and the liquid colliding with the collision member when moving in the circumferential direction; and a relative rotation unit configured to cause the liquid damper to rotate relative to the rotating body. Vibrations of a rotating body are effectively suppressed when a rotating body steadily rotates at a main resonance frequency, in the liquid damper system.
LAUNDRY WASHING MACHINE
A laundry washing machine having an outer casing, a washing tub, a rotatable drum and at least one balancing ring rigidly secured to the drum for reducing vibrations thereof. The balancing ring comprises an annular housing rigidly secured to the drum, an internal closed annular inner cavity, and balancing masses in free movable manner inside the annular inner cavity. The annular housing has first and second discrete and complementary annular hemishells that are joined to one another to form the annular inner cavity. The annular hemishells are substantially coplanar and concentric to one another, and have approximately C-shaped cross sections that are substantially complementary to one another. The hemishells are joined to one another along corresponding first and second mating annular rims, which are arranged on opposite sides of a given intermediate plane perpendicular to the central axis of the annular housing.
LAUNDRY WASHING MACHINE
A laundry washing machine having an outer casing, a washing tub, a rotatable drum and at least one balancing ring rigidly secured to the rotatable drum. The at least one balancing ring includes a substantially toroidal, annular housing that is rigidly secured to the drum, and has a tubular structure so as to delimit a closed annular inner cavity. A number of balancing masses are accommodated in movable manner inside the annular inner cavity, preferably together with a damping liquid. The annular housing has a substantially frustoconical outer wall segment that is inclined by an angle () lower than 90 with respect to the midplane (P) of the annular housing, and a peripheral supporting structure that juts out outwardly from the substantially frustoconical outer wall segment to stably abut against the body of the drum.
