Alternating pump direction for fluid detection
A domestic appliance and a method at the domestic appliance for detecting presence of process water in a pump of the domestic appliance are provided. The method of detecting process water in a pump of a domestic appliance may include operating the pump to rotate in a first direction, recording a first response of the pump rotating in the first direction based on a measured pump operation parameter, operating the pump to rotate in a second direction, and recording a second response of the pump rotating in the second direction based on the measured pump operation parameter. The method may further include comparing the first response and the second response, and determining the presence of water in the pump based on the comparison of the first and second response.
DRYER, PARTICULARLY FOR DRYING CLEAN-ROOM GARMENTS AND ACCESSORIES
A dryer, particularly for drying clean-room garments and accessories, includes a dryer body, a drying chamber, and a system for circulating air between an air intake and the drying chamber. The system includes an air aspiration device giving a direction of air flow from the air intake towards the drying chamber, a device for heating the aspirated air placed upstream of said drying chamber, and an absolute filter provided upstream of the drying chamber. The dryer further includes, upstream of the absolute filter, a connector arranged so as to be connected to a device for supplying air charged with a predetermined quantity of droplets of an aerosol, and in that it has an access to a space located downstream of the absolute filter and upstream of the drying chamber, the access to a space being arranged so as to be able to receive a measuring device.
Overflow pan for an appliance
The improved overflow pan for an appliance comprises a pan place under an appliance to collect water that may leak from the appliance, from water supply lines connected to the appliance, from condensation created by operation of the appliance, or from failure of the drainage system. The improved overflow pan for an appliance comprises a drain to allow the collected water to flow away from the area of the appliance. The improved overflow pan for an appliance undergoes a thermochromatic color change of the pan that is triggered by water collecting in the pan. The thermochromatic color change provides a distinct visual cue that water may not be draining from the pan properly.
COUPLING ARRANGEMENT FOR A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE, A DEVICE FOR A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE, AND A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
The invention relates to a coupling arrangement for a domestic appliance, comprising: a connection piece that has a channel for transporting a fluid on its inner side, and a shoulder on its outer side; an elastic bushing that is pushed onto said connection piece in an assembly direction, said bushing having, on its inner side, a first shoulder which engages behind the shoulder of said connection piece, and a second shoulder on its outer side; and a corrugated hose that comprises, on an end section thereof and on its inner side, a shoulder which engages behind the second shoulder of said bushing.
Washing machine and controlling method for the same
A washing machine for controlling optimal operating revolutions per minute (rpm) of a drain pump in a draining course and a dehydrating course includes a washing tub; a drain pump configured to drain water in the washing tub; a pump motor configured to operate the drain pump; an inverter circuit configured to supply a driving current to the pump motor to operate the drain pump; and a controller configured to control the inverter circuit to supply reference power to the pump motor in response to starting a draining course, determine reference revolutions per minute (rpm) based on average rpm of the pump motor during a preset period of time, and control the inverter circuit to operate the pump motor at the reference rpm in response to the determining of the reference rpm.
CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a clothing treatment apparatus in which an induction module for generating a magnetic field and a water level sensor affected by the magnetic field are able to be used together without confusion, and to a control method thereof.
