A washing machine has cleaning particles provided between an outer barrel and an inner barrel. A water outlet on the outer barrel communicates with a drainage device including a drain valve body having a particle receiving and discharging chamber and a drainage chamber. The particle collecting and discharging chamber has a water inlet. The drainage chamber has a water outlet. A particle filtering structure is provided between the particle receiving and discharging chamber and the drainage chamber. One side of the particle collecting and discharging chamber has an opening with a sealing cover including an outer cover and an insertion portion inserted through the opening, and fitting the edge wall of the particle receiving and discharging chamber. An inner wall of the insertion portion has a plurality of protrusions for supporting the cleaning particles. Gaps between the protrusions are smaller than a minimum diameter of the cleaning particles.
FABRIC TREATING APPLIANCE
A fabric treating appliance includes a rotatable basket defining a treating chamber for receiving a load of laundry items for treatment. A float valve can be incorporated into the basket structure, selectively opening or closing the valve based upon the liquid level in a tub. As liquid fills the tub, the float valve will rise until it moves into a closed position, permitting the basket and treating chamber to fill with liquid. As the tub drain, the float valve can fall, opening the valve and permitting liquid to drain from the basket or treating chamber. The opened or closed positions can be selectively operated by opening or closing a pump or sump and allowing a tub to drain or fill, respectively.
Fabric treating appliance
A fabric treating appliance includes a rotatable basket defining a treating chamber for receiving a load of laundry items for treatment. A float valve can be incorporated into the basket structure, selectively opening or closing the valve based upon the liquid level in a tub. As liquid fills the tub, the float valve will rise until it moves into a closed position, permitting the basket and treating chamber to fill with liquid. As the tub drain, the float valve can fall, opening the valve and permitting liquid to drain from the basket or treating chamber. The opened or closed positions can be selectively operated by opening or closing a pump or sump and allowing a tub to drain or fill, respectively.

The present disclosure relates to a washing machine comprising: a cabinet; a tub which is accommodated in said cabinet, and accommodates wash water therein; a drum which is installed in said tub to be rotated, an accommodates the laundry; a sump which is equipped on the lower part of said tub such that the wash water is collected; a drain chamber which is connected to the lower part of a drain formed on a bottom surface of said sump, and in which the wash water drained from said drain is temporarily stored; a pump which circulates the wash water drained from said drain chamber; and a drain-side circulation flow path which forms a path in which the wash water circulates between said drain chamber and said pump.
WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine is provided. The washing machine includes: a washing tub having an axis extending longitudinally; a circulation path configured to draw detergent solution mixed with a detergent in the washing tub and return the detergent solution into the washing tub from an upper side; a pump configured to pump the detergent solution in the washing tub into the circulation path and allow the detergent solution to rise in the circulation path; and a controller configured to execute a washing operation. The washing operation includes a circulation-soaking process during which a circulation process and a soaking process are conducted alternately and repeatedly. The detergent solution is circulated between the washing tub and the circulation path by driving the pump and sprayed onto washings in the circulation process. The pump is stopped from being driven and, the washings are soaked with the detergent solution in the washing tub in the soaking process.
