A bearing assembly capable of supporting a shaft of a drum and a clothes dryer having the same. The bearing assembly includes a bearing configured to rotatably support the shaft, and a centering guide formed in an annular shape and in which the bearing is installed, and the bearing assembly having a centering function may be simply manufactured using a bearing that is generally used.

The frame assembly includes: a support frame forming an accommodation space for accommodating a clothes treatment drum; a support structure connected to the support frame and supporting the clothes treatment drum; and a limiting structure arranged on the support frame and cooperating with the support structure to limit displacement of the support structure.
Dynamic seal for washer and dryer combination appliance
A washer and dryer combination appliance including a housing, a drum positioned in the housing, and a dynamic, expandable seal positioned between the drum and the housing. A laundry compartment inside the drum is accessible through openings in the front of the housing and drum. The drum has a rear wall with perforations that permit air to flow into the laundry compartment. An air gap is located between the rear of the housing and the rear wall of the drum. The dynamic, expandable seal, is actuatable between a retracted position and an extended position. In the extended position, the dynamic, expandable seal extends across the air gap to direct airflow through the perforations in the rear wall of the drum. In the retracted position, the dynamic, expandable seal is spaced away from the drum and therefore does not add any drag on the drum as the drum rotates.

A washer and dryer combination appliance including a housing, a drum positioned in the housing, and a dynamic, expandable seal positioned between the drum and the housing. A laundry compartment inside the drum is accessible through openings in the front of the housing and drum. A dryer is disclosed. The dryer comprises: a body having a first opening disposed at one side thereof; a first drum rotatably disposed in the body and including a first drying chamber connected to the first opening; a first hot-air unit for supplying hot air to the inside of the first drum; a first door coupled to the body to open or close the first opening; a second drum disposed at the first door; and a second hot-air unit for supplying hot air to the inside of the second drum.
Dryer
A dryer is disclosed. The dryer comprises: a body having a first opening disposed at one side thereof; a first drum rotatably disposed in the body and including a first drying chamber connected to the first opening; a first hot-air unit for supplying hot air to the inside of the first drum; a first door coupled to the body to open or close the first opening; a second drum disposed at the first door; and a second hot-air unit for supplying hot air to the inside of the second drum.

A laundry treatment apparatus includes a drum configured to receive laundry. The drum includes a cylindrical drum body and a rear cover defining a rear surface of the drum. The rear cover includes a plurality of rear-cover-reinforcing ribs that radially extend from a center of the rear cover and are connected to a periphery of the rear cover. The laundry treatment apparatus is configured to circulate hot and dry air through an inside of the drum.

A laundry treatment apparatus includes: a drive unit including a rotating shaft, a drum configured to be rotated by the rotating shaft and receive laundry and including a cylindrical drum body and a rear cover, the rear cover defining a rear surface of the drum body and a rear cover through hole in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, and a shaft bracket that (i) is coupled to the rear cover and the rotating shaft, (ii) covers the rear cover through hole, (iii) is configured to transmit rotational force of the rotating shaft to the drum, and (iv) defines a shaft-coupling hole in the axial direction. The rotating shaft is inserted into the shaft-coupling hole, projected into an inside of the drum, and coupled to the shaft bracket by a rotating-shaft-fastening member.

Provided is a laundry treating apparatus comprising: a cabinet, a drum rotatably disposed inside the cabinet and configured to receive laundry, and a driving part disposed at the rear plate and configured to provide a rotation force to the drum, wherein the rear plate includes: a driving part mounting portion, and an air flow portion surrounding the driving part mounting portion, wherein the air flow portion includes a flow space having an open front surface facing the drum, wherein the drum rear surface includes: a rear surface central portion facing the driving part mounting portion, and an air passage surrounding the rear surface central portion, wherein the rear surface central portion is disposed in front of the driving part, and wherein the air passage is disposed to be spaced radially outward apart from the driving part.
