Solid cleansing compositions and methods for treating, decreasing, reducing, or preventing hyperpigmentation of skin, and/or methods for regulating melanin in or on skin are provided. The solid cleansing composition may include a delivery vehicle and one or more whitening agents. The whitening agents may include one or more of kojic acid, phenylethyl resorcinol, or combinations thereof. The whitening agents may be configured to regulate melanin in or on skin, and the delivery vehicle may be configured to stabilize the one or more whitening agents.

Consumable abrasive-containing oral hygiene tablets are described. The tablets include glycine as an abrasive. The glycine average (Mv) particle size may be greater than 45 μm. The tablets may be used with an oral irrigator and, when placed in the irrigator's fluid flow path, may disintegrate, release the abrasive, and improve the cleaning efficacy of the irrigator.

The present disclosure relates to a soluble microneedle and a filler composition with an excellent anti-wrinkle effect. Semisolid oral dispersions for improving the health and/or appearance of the oral cavity. The semisolid oral dispersions include hydrophilic active agent particles in hydrophobic phase. The hydrophilic active agent particles can include bleaching agents, antimicrobial agents, anticalculus agents, and/or combinations thereof. The hydrophilic active agent particle can have a solubility in water of at least about 20 parts, by weight of the particles, in about 100 parts, by weight, of water. The hydrophobic phase can be semisolid petrolatum.

Embodiments of the disclosure relate to dissolvable solid foam compositions having a soluble polymer and a surfactant. The compositions may be biodegradable and a closed cell solid foam. Also described are kits, methods of preparation and methods of use of such dissolvable solid foam compositions.
