CLOTHES CARE APPARATUS
A disclosed embodiment provides a clothes care device which can improve service life, is not influenced by humidity, and can resolve odor problems. A clothes care device, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises: an air blower; a flow path through which air, which is made to flow by the air blower, moves; and a deodorizing module for purifying the air which is made to flow by the air blower. The deodorizing module comprises: a ceramic filter provided inside the flow path; and an ultraviolet light emitting unit provided on the outside of the flow path so as to face the ceramic filter.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE WITH BULKY ITEM DETECTION
A laundry treating appliance and method for controlling the operation of a laundry treating appliance having a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber for receiving laundry for treatment in accordance with a treating cycle of operation by determining the presence of a bulky laundry item based on image data of the laundry within the treating chamber.
METHOD OF USING IMAGE RECOGNITION PROCESSES FOR IMPROVED OPERATION OF A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A washing machine appliance includes a wash tub defining a wash chamber, a wash basket rotatably mounted within the wash tub, and a camera mounted within the cabinet in view of the wash chamber. A controller is operably coupled to the camera for obtaining images of the load of clothes in the wash chamber and analyzing the images using a neural network image recognition process (such as a Mask R-CNN process) to determine a load characteristic of the load of clothes. The load characteristic can then be used to adjust at least one operating parameter of the washing machine appliance based on the load characteristic, e.g., for improved or optimized wash performance.
LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a method of controlling a washing machine. The method includes receiving setting information for washing mode, sensing an amount of laundry put into the washing machine, transmitting the setting information for washing mode and information on the amount of laundry to a dryer, and transmitting preheating request information to the dryer. A laundry treatment apparatus includes devices that may operate in conjunction with one another, thereby increasing operation efficiency and usability.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME
A control method for a laundry treating apparatus comprises a first communication step of notifying a dryer of a washing course by a washing machine if the washing course is input through a washing machine interface provided to receive a control command; a course selection step of selecting any one of a plurality of drying courses set to the dryer by the dryer; and a predicted time transmission step of transmitting a sum of a washing time set to the washing course and a drying time set to the drying course to a terminal provided to perform communication with at least any one of the washing machine and the dryer through wire or wireless communication.
USER TERMINAL DEVICE AND CLOTHING TREATING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
A user terminal device includes: an input interface; a communication interface configured to communicate with an external device; and a processor operatively connected with the input interface and the communication interface, wherein the processor is configured to: based on clothing information being input through the input interface, control the communication interface to transmit the clothing information to a server, and receive, from the server through the communication interface, recommended course information generated based on the clothing information, generate user-customized course information by editing the recommended course information based on an editing command being input to the input interface, control the communication interface to transmit the user-customized course information to the server, and wherein the user-customized course information includes course name information and course description information, based on the editing command.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL STORAGE SYSTEM INCLUDING HEAT PUMP UNIT HAVING MOISTURE SUPPLY UNIT AND METHOD OF PREHEATING USING THE SAME
Disclosed is a multifunctional storage system including a machine chamber and a compartment, in which clothes are received, the multifunctional storage system including: a heat pump unit located in the machine chamber and including an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor, and a pressure controller; a moisture supply unit coupled to the heat pump unit and including a humidification filter; and a fan unit configured to circulate air in the machine chamber from the evaporator toward the condenser, wherein the moisture supply unit is coupled to a front end of the evaporator with reference to a circulation direction of the air, and wherein moisture is supplied to the humidification filter according to a preset condition, and loads of the evaporator and the condenser are increased as the moisture is supplied to the air when the air passes through the humidification filter.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPARATUS
A method controls a laundry treatment apparatus that includes a drum in which a target object to be dried is put, a drum motor to drive the drum, an air duct to guide air into the drum, a heat pump provided in the air duct to dehumidify and heat the air, a blower fan to move the air of the air duct, and a blower motor to drive the blower fan. The method includes a drum driving step for repeatedly driving the drum by accelerating and decelerating the drum, a steam supply step for supplying or stopping steam for a predetermined time during execution of the drum driving step, and an air supply step for circulating internal air of the drum during execution of the drum driving step. The circulation of the internal air of the drum is stopped during execution of the steam supply step.
