METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DRYING LAUNDRY IN A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
A method and system for drying laundry in a laundry treating appliance. The laundry treating appliance having a treating chamber in which the laundry is received for drying. The method comprising supplying air to the treating chamber, exhausting the supplied air from the treating chamber, actuating a heater to a first temperature value, actuating the heater to a second temperature value, and maintaining a maximum evaporation rate.
METHOD OF USING IMAGE RECOGNITION PROCESSES FOR IMPROVED OPERATION OF A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A washing machine appliance includes a wash basket that is rotatably mounted within a wash tub and that defines a wash chamber for receiving a load of clothes. A basket speed sensor monitors the speed of the wash basket and a camera assembly is mounted within the wash tub for taking images of the load of clothes during and/or after a wash or rinse cycle. A controller determines the basket speed, adjusts a frame rate of the camera assembly to match the basket speed, obtains a still image from the camera assembly, analyzes the image using a machine learning image recognition process to determine a remaining moisture content (RMC) of the load of clothes, and adjusts at least one operating parameter of the washing machine appliance based on the remaining moisture content, e.g., such as ending the drain cycle when a target RMC is reached.
DRY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A dryer comprising: a user interface configured to receive input for a drying course; a communication interface; a drum; a hot air supply device to supply hot air to the drum; a sensing device, enabled to self-generate power based on a movement of the sensing device inside the drum while the drum is being rotated and transmits sensing data according to a voltage generated according to the self-power generation to the communication interface; and a processor to control an operation of the hot air supply device on the basis of the input for the drying course received through the user interface, where the control of the operation of the hot wind supplying device by the processor includes determining an operation time during which the hot air supply device operates to supply the hot air to the drum on the basis of the sensing data.
Heater and control scheme for multi-compartment dryer
A heater arrangement for a multi-compartment appliance comprises a first heater, a second heater, and a relay. The first heater is disposed within a first airflow path for a first dryer compartment. The second heater is disposed within a second airflow path for a second dryer compartment. The relay interconnects, via an electrical harness, the first and second heaters. The relay, responsive to a demand for heat to the first dryer compartment and the first heater having a temperature being less than a target temperature, diverts power to the first heater.
CLOTHING TREATMENT DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a clothing treatment apparatus, comprising: a cabinet forming an exterior; a cylindrical drum positioned inside the cabinet and having front and rear surfaces which are open; a motor for generating a rotational force for rotating the drum; a rotating part rotating by means of the rotational force generated by the motor; a connection part connecting the rotating part and the drum to transmit the rotational force of the motor to the drum through the rotating part; a tension part positioned between the rotating part and the drum to adjust the tension of the connection part; a bracket connected to the rotating part to rotatably support the tension part; a first elastic member having one end connected to the cabinet and the other end connected to the rotating part or the bracket, and rotating the rotating part and the tension part in a first rotating direction when the drum rotates; and a rotation preventing part for preventing the rotating part and the tension part from rotating more than a predetermined rotation angle in the first rotating direction.
