BIOMEDICAL COMPOSITION FOR SKIN CARE AND/OR MAINTENANCE AND DELAYING AND/OR INHIBITING SKIN AGING AND THE USE THEREOF
A method for skin care and/or maintenance including applying or administering a preparation to a subject is provided. The preparation includes a biomedical composition, and the biomedical composition includes an effective amount of micelle, wherein the micelle includes a hyaluronic acid and/or a derivative thereof and a modified histidine. The modified histidine is grafted to at least one primary hydroxyl group of the hyaluronic acid and/or the derivative thereof, and a graft ratio of the modified histidine is 1-100%. Moreover, the hyaluronic acid and/or the derivative thereof and the modified histidine form the micelle on a weight percentage of 0.2-300:1.
Transdermal carrier
Improved formulations for topical treatment that ensure at least localized transdermal or systemic delivery of an active agent through skin, nails or hair follicles are disclosed.
Micellar extended release nanostructures
Compositions and methods of manufacture for an extended time-release fragrance comprising volatile organic compounds. A composition of the disclosure includes an effective amount of a volatile organic compound for providing a fragrance that can be sensed by a user and fractionated coconut oil comprising caprylic acid and capric acid.
METHOD OF CONDITIONING HAIR
The invention provides a method of conditioning hair by application of a conditioning shampoo composition, in which the hair is oxidatively-treated hair and in which the conditioning shampoo composition comprises: i) an aqueous continuous phase including cleansing surfactant, ii) a dispersed phase including emulsified droplets of non-volatile silicone having a mean droplet diameter (D3,2) of 1 micrometre or less, and iii) a solubilised oily liquid conditioning agent for skin and/or hair; in which the oily liquid conditioning agent is solubilised in wormlike micelles in the aqueous continuous phase via the incorporation of at least one inorganic electrolyte and at least one linker molecule which is selected from compounds of general formula R(X).sub.n, in which R is an aryl ring having from 6 to 10 carbon atoms or a mono-, di- or trivalent alkyl or hydroxyalkyl chain having from 3 to 14 carbon atoms; n is 1 to 3 and each X is independently selected from OH, COOH and COO-M.sup.+ groups, where M is an alkali metal, ammonium or alkanolammonium cation; and in which the level of solubilised oily liquid conditioning agent in the conditioning shampoo composition ranges from 0.45 to 3% by weight based on the total weight of the conditioning shampoo composition. The method according to the invention provides for the enhanced conditioning of oxidatively-treated hair compared to virgin hair.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING NONAQUEOUS COMPOSITION FOR EXTERNAL USE ON SKIN
A method for producing a nonaqueous composition for external use on the skin including a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient-surfactant complex dissolved or dispersed in an oil phase, the method including the steps of: dissolving a surfactant in an oil phase to obtain a surfactant solution; mixing the obtained surfactant solution with a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient to obtain a suspension; and allowing the obtained suspension to stand still to obtain a transparent composition. Unlike conventional methods for preparing S/O formulations, the strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient can be solubilized in an oil phase without the process of emulsification and freeze drying.
NON-RINSE MICELLAR WATER CHASSIS
A non-rinse micellar water composition; method of manufacture for a non-rinse micellar water composition; and a method of use for a micellar water composition are disclosed.
Amphiphilic entity nanoparticles
The present invention provides nanoparticle compositions comprising AE nanoparticles. The present invention provides AE nanoparticles comprising one or more amphiphilic entities and pharmaceutical compositions comprising AE nanoparticles. The present invention provides methods of manufacturing AE nanoparticles. The present invention provides methods of delivering a biologically active agent to a subject by administering AE nanoparticles containing a biologically active agent to a subject.
Method of producing a hair-dyeing composition kit for minimizing hair damage, scalp irritation, and ammonia odor caused by applying ammonia
A method of producing a hair-dyeing composition kit includes providing a first composition including from 5 to 30% by weight of a first base material containing polyoxyethylene octyl ether phosphate and polyoxyethylene oleyl ether phosphate, and an auxiliary constituent of cetearyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, mineral oil, and mixtures thereof; from 5 to 25% by weight of an alkalizing agent of monoethanolamine, ammonia water having a concentration of 28% by weight, and mixtures thereof; from 0.01 to 2% by weight of a color developer; and a first solvent; and providing a second composition including from 1 to 10% by weight of a second base material of polyoxyethylene oleyl ether phosphate, cetearyl alcohol, and mixtures thereof; from 12 to 20% by weight of an oxidizing agent; from 0.1 to 1% by weight of a pH adjusting agent; and a second solvent. The first the second compositions are combined in use.
