DRYER AND CONTROLLING METHOD FOR THE SAME
A controlling method for a dryer is provided. The controlling method includes the steps of rotating a drum in a first direction and a second direction which is an opposite direction to the first direction by a motor, measuring the load of the motor and identifying the weight of drying materials based on the lower motor load among the load of the motor measured during rotation in the first direction and the load of the motor measured during rotation in the second direction.
DRYER SENSOR ROD WITH ORIENTED TAB
A moisture sensor assembly for a dryer appliance includes a housing body having a divider wall, a first sensor rod, and a second sensor rod. The first and second sensor rods are positioned on the housing body. Each of the first and second sensor rods has a mounting tab. The mounting tab of the first sensor rod is positioned opposite the mounting tab of the first sensor rod about the divider wall of the housing body. The mounting tabs of the first and second sensor rods are oriented generally parallel to the divider wall.
Dryer and method for controlling same
The present invention to provide a dryer having high drying efficiency and possible to energy saving operation. A controller (3) of the dryer (D) include an information receiver (33) configured to collect drying object information about a state of the Object to be dried in the drum (2). A controller (3) of the dryer (D) controls an output of the heater to have an output per unit time lower than a predetermined output of normal based on a state of the object to be dried collected by the information receiver, and controls a drying ending time based on a state of the object to be dried and an output of the heater.
LAUNDRY APPLIANCE WITH CAPACITIVE LAUNDRY DRYING DEGREE SENSING FUNCTION
A method for measuring the humidity of a laundry mass contained in a laundry treatment chamber of a laundry appliance. The method includes: providing a capacitor in the laundry appliance, the capacitor having, as part of the capacitor dielectric, the laundry mass; measuring a capacitance of the capacitor by means of an electronic circuitry electrically supplied by a supply voltage and a reference voltage. Providing a capacitor comprises: providing in the laundry appliance at least one conductive plate which forms a plate of the capacitor, and exploiting, as a second plate of the capacitor, routing lines distributing inside the laundry drying appliance the reference voltage.
Laundry treating appliance with a sensor
An apparatus and method towards a laundry treating appliance for drying laundry comprising a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber and having a front and a rear where at least one conductivity sensor is located within the treating chamber, and a motor rotating the drum tumbles laundry within the treating chamber to enable contact of the laundry with the conductivity sensor.
Method for controlling laundry processing apparatus
A method for controlling a laundry processing apparatus, according to an embodiment of the present invention, is a method for controlling a clothes processing apparatus, comprising the steps of: inputting a drying start command; forwardly rotating a drying drum and a drying fan; supplying hot air into the drying drum; operating a timer so as to calculate drying time; and operating a dryness sensor so as to detect the dryness of laundry, wherein a controller determines that the laundry is tangled, if a dryness sensing value (K) detected by the dryness sensor is greater than or equal to a first set value (k1) before a first set time (T1) elapses after drying starts, and the controller performs a primary laundry untangling process for reversely rotating the drying drum for a second set time (T2).
LAUNDRY APPLIANCE COMPRISING A HUMIDITY SENSOR
A laundry appliance having a laundry drying chamber and a sensor for measuring the humidity of laundry items contained in the laundry drying chamber. The sensor includes an operating support having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The sensor also has at least one first pad provided on the first surface of the operating support and at least one second pad provided on the second surface of the operating support, both the first pad and the second pad being made of an electrically conductive material and being adapted to operate as a plate of a capacitor. Methods for detecting humidity of laundry items are also provided.
Laundry appliance with capacitive laundry drying degree sensing function
A method for measuring the humidity of a laundry mass contained in a laundry treatment chamber of a laundry appliance. The method includes: providing a capacitor in the laundry appliance, said capacitor having, as part of the capacitor dielectric, the laundry mass; measuring a capacitance of said capacitor by means of an electronic circuitry electrically supplied by a supply voltage and a reference voltage. Providing a capacitor comprises: providing in the laundry appliance at least one conductive plate which forms a plate of said capacitor, and exploiting, as a second plate of said capacitor, routing lines distributing inside the laundry drying appliance said reference voltage.
Clothes dryer fire reduction system
A clothes dryer apparatus and system that reduces the buildup of electric charges within a dryer drum by introducing ions. The system monitors the voltage within the drum by taking measurements on voltage sensor assembly. The sensor assembly obtains a voltage when two areas of a fabric, or two separate items of the clothing, contact the sensor. If a threshold voltage is obtained, an ion generator introduces cations and anions into the drum of the dryer to neutralize the static charge of the clothing. The reduction of static electricity increases efficiency as the clothing items do not stick together which permits better heat flow and increases safety by reducing the amount of electrical charge within the drum.
Control method of laundry treatment apparatus
A control method of a laundry treatment apparatus is disclosed which includes a course setting procedure receiving a control command including RPM control data of an impeller, RPM control data of a compressor or opening degree control data of an expansion valve, a hot air supply procedure for supplying heated air to a drum through control of the impeller, compressor and expansion valve, a temperature measurement procedure measuring temperature of air introduced into the drum during execution of the hot air supply procedure, a first control procedure for controlling the impeller, compressor and expansion valve based on the control command when the measured temperature is equal to or higher than a reference temperature, and a second control procedure controlling the impeller, compressor and expansion valve based on a control command different from the control command set in the course setting procedure when the measured temperature is lower than the reference temperature.
