METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE APPLICATION OF CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS TO NATURAL FIBERS AND TREATED FIBERS OBTAINED THEREFROM
There is provided an impregnated natural fiber including a cuticle and an interior lumen, the cuticle circumscribing the interior lumen; and insoluble particulates possessing a preselected property embedded in the fiber. The particulates comprise at least 0.1-30 wt. % of the impregnated fiber and the particulates are embedded on the cuticle and within the lumen of the fiber. The fiber has an increased strength, micronaire value and rate of water absorption. Also provided is a system for surface treating cellulose sliver fibers. The system includes a vessel containing a moist paste which comprises at least one particulate material possessing one or more preselected desired properties, a thickening agent and water. The paste from the vessel is dispensed directly onto sliver fiber ribbon(s). A bore sonotrode generates ultrasonic waves which embed the particulate material(s) in the sliver fibers.

At least some of the needled blanket has, disposed therein, an impregnation part where an oxide-precursor-containing liquid is adherent in an undried state. The impregnation part has a water content of 50-400 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the inorganic fibers of the impregnation part. The water content of the heat-insulating protective member is 50-400 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the inorganic fibers of the heat-insulating protective member. The oxide-precursor-containing liquid contains ingredients that, upon burning, yield a composition containing Al.sub.2O.sub.3 and CaO. The oxide-precursor-containing liquid is adherent in an amount of 2-50 parts by mass in terms of oxide amount per 100 parts by mass of the inorganic fibers of the impregnation part. A molar ratio of Al/Ca, in the whole impregnation part is 10-330.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CARBON FIBER RESIN TAPE AND THE CARBON FIBER RESIN TAPE
The invention aims to provide a method of manufacturing a carbon fiber resin tape capable of being adhered with a high adhesive strength without being pressurized at high pressure nor heated at high temperature. A method of manufacturing a carbon fiber resin tape F2 comprises: a first step of immersing a carbon fiber bundle F1 having several carbon fibers in reduced water having a negative oxidation-reduction potential to flatten the carbon fiber bundle; a second step of immersing the above-described carbon fiber bundle in an adhesive solution containing an adhesive S, alumina sol A, and potassium persulfate B after the above-described first step; and a third step of drying the above-described carbon fiber bundle after the above-described second step.

Circuit Board and Process for Preparing the Same
The present invention provides a process for preparing a pre-treated low Dk-type glass fabric for constituting a circuit board, comprising pre-treating low Dk-type glass fabric with a pre-treating varnish having a Dk close to the Dk of the used low Dk-type glass fabric at different temperatures and having a small Df. The present invention further provides a bonding sheet and a circuit board prepared thereby. The circuit boards prepared by the preparation process of the present invention have a Dk having small differences in warp and weft directions, and can effectively solve the problem of signal propagation delay. The circuit boards have a small Df, so as to have a small signal loss. Meanwhile, the cured, partially-cured or uncured dry glue obtained after drying the solvent of the pre-treating varnish has similar dielectric properties at different temperatures to the used low Dk-type glass fabric, so that the circuit boards have a very small signal propagation delay at different temperatures.
