ANTI-VIRAL FACE MASK AND FILTER MATERIALS
The invention provides a filter fabric for providing anti pathogenic properties which has been coated with a composition comprising (a) 0.0001-99.9999% by weight of a compound of such as zinc pyrithione and (b) 0.0001-99.9999% by weight of an additional zinc salt selected from the group consisting of zinc acetate, zinc propionate, zinc oxalate, zinc benzoate, zinc gluconate, zinc ascorbate, zinc citrate, zinc lactate, zinc glycolate, zinc maleate, zinc fumarate, zinc polyacrylate and zinc polymaleate. The invention also provides a composition for imparting anti-viral properties to a breathable substrate material comprising two or more zinc salts selected from the group consisting of zinc acetate, zinc propionate, zinc oxalate, zinc benzoate, zinc gluconate, zinc ascorbate, zinc citrate, zinc lactate, zinc glycolate, zinc maleate, zinc fumarate, zinc EDTA, zinc glycinate, zinc polyacrylate, zinc polylactate, zinc polyglycolate and zinc polymaleate said zinc salts being present in effective amounts to impart anti-pathogenic properties.
RECYCLING PROCESS FOR THE RECOVERY OF COTTON FROM POLYESTER-COTTON FABRICS AND/OR FIBERS
Polyester-free cotton is obtained from a fabric and/or fibers containing polyester and cotton by reacting the fabric and/or fibers with an amine organocatalyst and/or carboxylic acid salt of same and an alcohol solvent. The reaction, which may be run in batches or as a continuous flow process, recovers (i) polyester-free cotton as a solid inert by-product of the reaction, (ii) the amine organocatalyst and/or carboxylic acid salt of same for reuse, (iii) a polyester monomer product, and (iv) unreacted alcohol. The reaction works on any polyester-cotton fabric and/or fibers, including those that have at least one additional material, such as polyethers polyolefins, polyurethanes, nylon, rayon, acetate, viscose, modal, acrylic, wool, and combinations thereof.

Methods, compositions and uses relating thereto
A method of treating a material, the method comprising the steps of: (1) contacting the material with a composition comprising an electrophilic species selected from aldehydes, succinimidyl esters, and mixtures thereof; (2) contacting the material with a composition comprising a chelating agent and/or a salt of an amine and/or a carboxylic acid.
Articles comprising antioxidizing agents and bacteriostatic agents, and production processes thereof
An article may include a material having a surface containing at least one zinc oxide and/or salt, and at least one antioxidant. A method of using a mixture including at least one zinc oxide and/or salt, and at least one antioxidant, as bacteriostatic agent may include: applying the mixture to a surface of an article.

Fabric for sweat wicking pajamas and underclothing and preparing method thereof
A method of preparing a fabric for perspiration exhaust pajamas and underclothing includes the following steps: (1) grey cloth weaving: weaving a perspiration exhaust fiber, a regenerated cellulose fiber, and spandex into a grey cloth; (2) singeing: singeing the grey cloth to obtain a singed grey cloth through a two-face-two-back singeing; and (3) moisture adsorption and perspiration exhaust finishing: immersing the singed grey cloth in a finishing liquid, taking out the singed grey cloth for drying, baking, washing, and then drying to a constant weight to obtain the fabric for perspiration exhaust pajamas and underclothing.
