Method of preparing vinyl collagen microsphere polyamide fiber composite material
A method of preparing a vinyl collagen microsphere polyamide fiber composite material includes the following steps: step 1: modifying a collagen with methacrylic anhydride to obtain a vinyl collagen, then emulsifying and cross-linking the vinyl collagen to obtain vinyl collagen microspheres; step 2: treating a polyamide fiber substrate with formaldehyde to obtain a hydroxylated polyamide fiber substrate, treating the hydroxylated polyamide fiber with (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane (MPS) to obtain a sulfhydrylated polyamide fiber substrate; and step 3: modifying the sulfhydrylated polyamide fiber substrate with the vinyl collagen microspheres to obtain the vinyl collagen microsphere polyamide fiber composite material.

Non-fluorinated fiber and textile treatment compositions and applications thereof
In one aspect, a composition for treating fibers comprises an acidic aqueous or aqueous-based continuous phase and a liquid repellent phase comprising a dendrimer component and/or non-dendrimer alkyl urethane. The treatment composition, for example, can have pH of 2.5 to 6.5. In some embodiments, carboxylic acid is employed in the treatment composition for providing the acidic character of the aqueous or aqueous-based continuous phase. Moreover, the treatment composition can further comprise at least one of an acid stain resist component and soil release component. In some embodiments, fibers treated with compositions described herein exhibit ionic character.

Soil-resistant, stain-resistant fluorine-free coatings and methods of applying on materials
A process of fabricating the waterproof coating may include selecting a textile material substrate, utilizing a sol-gel comprising a silane or silane derivative and metal oxide precursor to coat the substrate, and optionally coating the substrate with a hydrophobic chemical agent and/or other chemical agents to create a surface with nanoscopic or microscopic features. The process may utilize an all solution process or controlled environment for fabricating a fluorine-free waterproof coating that prevent wetting or staining of a substrate, or may utilize a controlled environment. The composition coatings for treating textile materials improve soil-resistance and stain-resistance of the textile materials while the compositions contain no fluorine-based chemicals. In addition, the composite solution may impart additional properties such as physical strength to the textile whilst retaining the original appearance.
